That being said, I know a huge number of people who would slap Fluttershy for risking her life and would have wondered what the hell is wrong with her to risk her life over a dog.

Considering being hit by that car, which I'm assuming was moving at a VERY high speed, produced a wound big enough to warrant THAT much blood, Fluttershy's corpse is extremely well preserved.
