    Upped to Mature

The patron requested it, so Blue Wedding Belles is now rated Mature, and will proceed under that banner. Figured I should post an alert about that.

So...

I have that.

How to fix: You don't.

Why: Nobody knows. Blame god if that makes you feel better.

Lifestyle changes? No effect.

Medical science has advanced to the point that you get an exciting choice of medicines, each with their own benefits and downsides. Get comfy, because you'll be doing it until you're dead.

I think that's about it.

Does this count as a typo? I'm pretty sure it does. Who do I report it to?

DEATH TO THE TYPO SCUM! BURN THEM IN THEIR HOMES!

Ah crap, wow, thats a hell of a nasty thing to find out. I'm sorry. So very sorry anyone has to get that kind of news.

Well, we can only hope modern medicine find something before too long. Good luck, man.

Oh. That sucks... lifelong treatment and medication ahead...

But, well, at least it seems like a copable disease, and I wish you the least intrusive medications and least debilitating symptoms.

Very sorry to hear the diagnosis. The only thing I think Ive heard of similar is that its a fail in the immune system, and the treatment is immunotherapy, starting with antihistamines or something and going to heavy chemo. the only even purported possible cure was a couple months ago when 27 people I think it was had their immune system totally stripped in an effort to restart it. Literally turn it off and turn it on again.

One died at least and the side effects, well, you are in a bubble for weeks.

Im not even sure if it would work for you, but hopefully, its a start on a method of analysing the problem and guiding to a cure. Given modern processing and sequenceing, ten years for a fix, twenty to get it available.

Sorry. :pinkiesad2:

I think that could count as a Gene Type(O) Error.

:applecry:

I'm so sorry...I don't even have the words.

Did they tell you if it's relapsing-remitting or secondary progressive MS? Presuming that it's the former, my lay understanding is that you should experience a complete recovery after each episode, whereas with secondary progressive you wouldn't, and while relapsing-remitting can turn into secondary progressive, it doesn't always.

fix: travel to Equestria and get turned into a pony

But your insurance probably doesn't cover that.

Freakin hell man, I'm truly sorry that you have to go through this. However with what I know of you man, you are made of stern stuff, you'll plow through this daily and live till your 90. You are stronger than this, that I do know.

I'm sorry that this has happened to you, but am relieved that it's been caught and identified as early as possible.

If there's anything within our power to do to help you along please don't think twice about asking.

My heart goes out to you Mr. Silver.

Man, I feel so badly for you, that's no typo but a keyboard meltdown to life! I wish 'modern' medicine was up to the job but as I constantly seem to be telling doctors lately who keep sidestepping my questions, "Modern medicine my arse, you jerks can't even cure the common cold, yet you want to play god with my ailments, not happening!!!". Group of doctors around my bed at the time, all from different departments (had been in hospital for 2 weeks for a broken ankle, fibula and torn tendon in my left leg & apparently I'd just had a bit of a heart murmur, crash cart me And then next day scanning me with cat scan, ultrasound, VQ scan and plain old x-ray, found no blood clots) couldn't agree if my episode was caused by a clot or not.
Sorry for the TL:DR rant but lately the more that happens to me, the less faith I have in doctors.
Only thing I can suggest is if no satisfaction from your current medicos, get another opinion somewhere else further afield.
Kind & deep regards

4153270 I sent part of myself. He's doing alright from what I see.

Buck. That sucks hopet it will not affect your life that much.

4153308 I'm still stubbornly typing and walking.

I do not know what to really say as you say it is able to be controlled,
one of my neighbors here I know of has this vary thing and is still out doing every day things.
and if my memory is right he was diagnosed some wear around 1978.
look at it this way yes you will have it for life but it is not life ending and now it is getting the right balance of meds to get you life back in order.
I know your life will change and be changing over the next bit of time and I wish you the best of luck.

Stay strong and remember, we're here for you.

Weak and loosing memory is a hard thing to have.

Thats harsh to hear. i.. wish i had some good words for ya and what you'll be dealing with. but i can stay, remember folks out there are pullin' for ya.

4153414 I am thankfully not weak, just uncoordinated at times. It makes hunting pokemon trickier, but I still do it, damn it!

4153557 Yeah! That top percentile Rattata isn't going to catch itself! Gotta so 'em who's boss!

Dude, that sucks. I hope you get better less bad and manage to keep living your life. Here, have a :pinkiehappy:

Well any kind of nervous disease is bad news to hear, but on the bright side, at least your life isn't too affected by it. The wonders of modern medicine, huh?

yea.......i have ms as well. Aint it great? :ajbemused:

4153557 This reminds me of something. We wonder if the character named "Moron" had this in the fic Tales of Flame? That would make a lot of things make sense. The dude is hardly ever present in the story, but from what we see of him, he does try...

Oh my, I missed this bulletin when it was fresh. If it's any encouragement, I know a couple other people with MS that are pillars of the community.

4154955 God bless you for keeping on show that sickness who's boss

4160211 can I have the link to the story I cannot seem to find it
