POSSIBLE "Spikewall" Dragon sequel · 6:52am May 21st, 2016
Okay, so it is very clear to me that I'm going to have to write a sequel to "Spikewall" Dragon. The question though, is what the specifics will be. Please be aware that this project will be a medium-term project (ie, don't expect it out next week).
As such, followers (and whoever happens to be chancing by) I give to you the following write-in poll (I don't think there is a way to make a poll on the page, right?). If you wish to vote, PM me the corresponding number. One vote per pony.
1. Civil War, Reenactment #2

3. World War 2 (Spike as Gen. George Patton)
4. World War 2 (Spike as Feld-Marschell Erwin Rommel)
5. World War 2 (Spike as Gen. Georgy Zhukov)

8. Vietnam (Spike will have to team up with everypony in this one, fighting the VC composed of Fluttershy's animals)
9. Korean War

WW II and Spike as Patton is probably the choice - better name recognition, more opportunity for parody, etc...
Still... I'll admit I'm a bit biased, but... If you do Korea, could you maybe have Spike as Chesty Puller? Quotable quote (probably apocryphal): "The enemy is in front of us, behind us, and on both flanks. We're completely surrounded. Those poor bastards, they've got us exactly where we want them - we can attack in any direction now..."

Ooo, so many interesting premises. I vote for Revolutionary War. A war to get rid of a monarchy, and Twilight is a princess. How could one pass it up?

I think any of them could work, but I'd rather see pony vs pony, so probably not the Vietnam one.
Well, I really want to see how you'll translate Georgie's speeches into kid-safe Equestrian. Because who wouldn't like to hear Spike say, with a voice of thunder, "You won't have to shift your grandfoal to the other hindleg and hem and haw and mutter, 'Well, your granddaddy shoveled s*** in Ponyville.' You'll be able to say, 'I was with that g****** son of a b**** Spike the Dragon!'"

1, 2, 6 or 7. And reluctant on 2... modern wars would not be that fun to reenact, I think.
6 WOULD be a nice way to stick it to Twilight, though
I would love to see 8, with Angel as the leader of the VC mistreating captured prisoners.

3961567 thats pretty obvious and germanisn as easy as many think german is one of the most beautiful laungages out there but also one of the hardest to learn (shakespeare admiired the german launage by the way)
Hm 1 would be good, but now Twi knows how good Spike and Big Mac work as a team. Still it would be awesome to see them win.
3 and 4 would also be awesome. But then either Luna or Celestia would be Hitler or somepony like him.
Plus please what ever you do please give Starlight Glimmer a role other than transportation, she is intelligent and can be charismatic.

But please don't write outside your comfort zone, no matter what the vote. Pardon my bluntness: but that tends to spoil the work for the reader as much as the writer.
