I Came Back To Post One Little Thing, Then I'll Leave Again

I had mentioned before that a book called The Last Centurion had largely read like an opposite day prophecy about 2020. I thought I'd mention a little factoid about the book, due to recent events. Scroll down for a spoiler.

I Deleted My Last Blog Post... Again

Not over racism this time, but because what should have been a forum for civil discussion about the debate had quickly become extremely uncivil. I stopped it before I had to ban anyone, but I've learned my lesson. I'm going to stop trying to discuss politics on my blog, because it is clear to me now that not even Bronies are capable of civil, rational discussion of politics in 2020, and that

I Want To Get This Off My Chest

I keep seeing people posting stuff about how "The virus isn't going away, viruses never go away, you guys just need to deal with it".

Here's some straight truth for you guys.

And here's a link where I cite my sources about SARS.

I Deleted My Most Recent Blog Post

Seeing what the discussion in the comments was turning into, I opted to simply delete it over deleting some of the posts I saw on it. While political discussion is one thing, racism is not something I'll stand for. Have a good Labor Day Weekend, everyone.

I've Got A Book I Want To Discuss With You Guys

Alright. The book in question is called The Last Centurion, By John Ringo. He's actually a sci-fi author whose novels I've read and enjoyed. The Last Centurion isn't so much a sci-fi novel as it is a Twenty Minutes Into The Future Near-Apocalypse Military Campaign tale. The story takes place in a supposed near future where a combination of a mini-ice age and a global pandemic strikes the

Now this is interesting... · 5:13am Aug 14th, 2015

Anyone else think of Equestria when they saw this trailer?

mhm same, although its that I thought about what would happen if they ever met.

It's so cheesy. Yet, I have to go see it for some reason.

Only the 'eternal night' bit, but that's far older than MLP. It does look interesting, though.

Guardian... OF THE MOOOOOOOOOOOOOOAAAAAAAAAAGGHHHHH

This is intriguing, but I can't seem to find ANY information about this film anywhere, apart from a French release that apparently happened yesterday.

Mah cheese, it's everywhere.

The only correlation I can salvage from this trailer are the Guardians of the Sun and Mune.

Very interesting idea, me wants to watch.

I can see just as much bionicle in this as MLP, to be honest. The disgraced guardian reminds me of makuta!

After watching it, it really matches equestria in the sense of unlimited coexistent fantastical factual mythos.
The reality of both worlds is very Adam West Batman.

Either world has room in it for the other to have/will existed/exist.

This looks.....

Bad. This looks bad. :/

I've seen trailers that look and sound like this before, and it usually ends up being a movie with beautiful effects and a poorly written script...

might make a good crossover.

3318931 Perhaps more accurately, it looks *stupid*. That kind of movie can be great if it's done intelligently and with some wit, but the entire trailer looked like someone just phoned it in. It was a collection of the most over-used and predictable children's movie clichés ever. And that was the trailer, which is supposed to showcase of the best they've got in order to hook in the viewers. If the trailer was that stupid, prospects for the actual movie are pretty dim.

Yeah this almost seems like it could be a better Delgo

Also, that music. When they start playing the uplifting pop music, that usually means it's gonna be bad... There was just so much here that was so common in mediocre children's movies. I mean, the visuals ARE stunning, but that's about it...

Oh do not forget the voice acting
'I am the guardian of the MOOOOOOOOON'
if that makes it in the final release without another take
