One more update on the story I'm working on · 4:27am January 20th

I'm close to having enough chapters to start the story I've been talking about doing. It's still taking a little time, though, so for now, here's one more piece of delightful lore to chew on.

Lifeforms:

The Seven Deadly Sins Of Bad Game Design · 8:18pm Oct 14th, 2018

There are a few common trends in the creation of bad games today, and after watching Angry Video Game Nerd, I came up with ones that correspond with the Seven Deadly Sins, as well as a couple of examples of the "classic" game design deadly sins. Today, I'm going to share them with you. Here are the Seven Deadly Sins Of Bad Game Design.

Dragon Quest 11 And The Subtle Art Of Subverting Expectations · 5:43am Oct 3rd, 2018

Okay, so before I get started, the following is going to have absolutely massive spoilers for the recently released Dragon Quest 11, so unless you've already gotten past what I will tacitly call "The Big Event" (And believe me, you would know it if you've reached it), don't read this. Again, SPOILERS. You've been warned.

Sorry for being out of contact so long. · 4:32am Sep 3rd, 2018

This really really hasn't been the best year. I was able to fix that problem I has with Hollow Knight, thank goodness, and beat that game :moustache:. I've got a few other games I'm wanting to play and beat, but that's neither here nor there. Here's what is: Over the last month and a half, my youngest dog has been through the ringer. He suddenly got an abscess on his belly the size of an egg. One a big dog, this would be worrying. On a fifteen pound dog, this is downright

I'm Done With Hollow Knight · 2:38am Jul 15th, 2018

I hate saying that. It's a pretty great game, for the most part. Here's my problem though: Everyone is going on about how great and slick the controls are, but for reasons known only to the game, it repeatedly ignores my controller input at critical moments, and one of those moments during the fight with the Traitor Lord, and another while I was trying to make my way to a bench so I wouldn't have to make such a long trek every time I died permanently cost me over 10,000 Geo.

So... my father is still alive. · 1:45am Jul 2nd, 2018

Surprisingly, given all that's happened. Fun fact: End-stage COPD, Severe Diabetes, and Severe Potassium Deficiency have almost identical symptoms. The steroid medications that he was one can cause the body to lose potassium, and cause diabetes-like symptoms, and even straight up diabetes. So, basically, the meds my dad had been put on by hospice (He was put on hospice too early, long story) were what was killing him. The good news is, the meds have been changed, he's back home, he's
