A Little Nonsense Now And Then Is Relished By The Wisest Men.

There are a few common trends in the creation of bad games today, and after watching Angry Video Game Nerd, I came up with ones that correspond with the Seven Deadly Sins, as well as a couple of examples of the "classic" game design deadly sins. Today, I'm going to share them with you. Here are the Seven Deadly Sins Of Bad Game Design.
Okay, so before I get started, the following is going to have absolutely massive spoilers for the recently released Dragon Quest 11, so unless you've already gotten past what I will tacitly call "The Big Event" (And believe me, you would know it if you've reached it), don't read this. Either that, or if you don't care about spoilers. So, scroll down if you're willing and ready for this.
Again, SPOILERS. You've been warned.
This really really hasn't been the best year. I was able to fix that problem I has with Hollow Knight, thank goodness, and beat that game . I've got a few other games I'm wanting to play and beat, but that's neither here nor there. Here's what is: Over the last month and a half, my youngest dog has been through the ringer. He suddenly got an abscess on his belly the size of an egg. One a big dog, this would be worrying. On a fifteen pound dog, this is downright
I hate saying that. It's a pretty great game, for the most part. Here's my problem though: Everyone is going on about how great and slick the controls are, but for reasons known only to the game, it repeatedly ignores my controller input at critical moments, and one of those moments during the fight with the Traitor Lord, and another while I was trying to make my way to a bench so I wouldn't have to make such a long trek every time I died permanently cost me over 10,000 Geo.

The steroid medications that he was one can cause the body to lose potassium, and cause diabetes-like symptoms, and even straight up diabetes. So, basically, the meds my dad had been put on by hospice (He was put on hospice too early, long story) were what was killing him. The good news is, the meds have been changed, he's back home, he's

And if what you're making is, say, a crafting bench, furniture, or a house, that's all fine and dandy. But there's something that a lot of people overlook when it comes to crafting, and I feel I have to
Prove Your Worth
This game came out yesterday on Steam. I've played it about 3 hours now, and I have to say one thing...
This game is great.
My father is moving into the final stages of his disease. He's dying. He will not see the end of May. He might not even make it to the 15th. So, I'm on hiatus until he's passed away, and I've had sufficient time to grieve. Sorry folks. It was going to happen sooner or later, and it turns out, it's happening now.
Enduriance
I thoroughly enjoyed it, and I heartily recommend it. I suggest looking up Durians in wikipedia before you start, so you get a general idea of what the fruit is like. And while the story may slightly exaggerate the toughness of the fruit, I promise that there is no description possible that can exaggerate the legendary smell of the King of Fruits.
