yet the idea still the same, criticism is not a bad thing but can be done in a wrong way, criticism that is insulting or baseless criticism shouldn't be tolerated, some people just want to bitch about stuff, that ain't criticism.
as for Zamairiac, some people are just a holes, ignore them, wasting time on them just give them more will to continue. stop feeding the troll.
As much as the guy's a douche, I don't think you should've made any reaction towards him; he just wants attention and you gave him what he wanted. Now there will be an unneeded amount of hate towards him even through he caused all of this.
On a small side note...
How come we have to read older stories to read the new ones? It's really confusing with every other story branching off into something different. And how come you keep on repeating the same plotline over and over again?

None of my plot's are the same.
The reason Absolute Power and Cinnamon are connected to an older story is because they are spin offs, the same story that takes a much different route. I'm well aware that my niche is Royalty and Humans, but I'm also aware that each plot is different.
Besides that point, they are called Royal Break Up Chronicles, as in there's a break up in each one, which is most likely the similarity your putting together.

I read this person's original comment, and he needs to be directed to Fimfiction's blog on how to be a better critic, specifically the section that addresses how you write your comment.
In a nutshell, the section says that people are more likely to take criticism more seriously if you present it in a nice, polite way. Sure, the message is the same, but people are more likely to respond positively to criticism when it is given in a pleasant manner.
Judging from the rather... barbaric way this person made his comment, it's clear that he does not understand this.

I still have the story in my "read" list, so I can't really weight in too heavily on what this guy said. However, having read his comment. I can break down some of it and point out the obvious flaws.
I guess people don't read descriptions nowadays? Seeing as I noticed this when I looked through it. 'This fic contains a darker version of Celestia.'.
This is a semantically null sentence. How can a character be, boring, annoying and a asshole at the same time? Usually an asshole means he is expressive in either a cocky way or mean attitude, which goes against the boring statement. Annoying also reinforces this idea that he anything but boring or uninteresting.
I guess he's never heard of the multiverse theory before? I can understand why you disliked his comment so much. This is purely personal preference and nothing relating to criticism.
Looking like his headcanon is showing.
I like how be preemptively blames the downvotes as simple acts of "disliking the universe" and "being honest". I've written "brutal reviews" on popular stories and got tons of upvotes on them, despite my reviews being very mean spirited and overall demoralizing. However, many people can see the truth in my reviews and overall like them, even if they like the story I am reviewing. So it isnt because you're being honest or making some fantards angry with your comment. It's because you comments hold no true criticism and are mostly just personal preferences of how you want things to be.
It's one thing to say. "Can you make the character a little more expressive in this area?". It's another thing entirely when you say "This universe sucks, this story sucks and you just need to delete it and do something else."
I swear, too many people can't understand the difference from their criticism and preferences.

Sir hat, peppy Greyskull, Wrathofgods 520 WhatmustIdo and so on these guys tore my story to pieces called it shit, trash and that I was a fucking pathetic writer. Did I name and shame them at the time, no. Because the moment we try to name and shame we are no better than them.
I like Zamairiac and I like his stuff for the most part. But this was wrong I do not think it was right to do that. Fans can be very cruel and bullying is something that should be strongly discouraged. By all mean make this post but insist that no one is to bully or target the person that has annoyed you.

You get an idea, you write it out and share it with others. So what if a few others are not finished, they're still going to get finished no matter what.
Patience is a virtue, and some people just don't know when to emphasize that with a little waiting over some stories.
It just sounds selfish and idiotic to me, because if you were to finish these stories without writing what came to mind, the time that lapsed would bring you to little interest of writing the new idea.
If you just pondered about it you would imagine the whole thing through and satisfy yourself with what played through your head, resulting in no desire to write the story.

2460820 Cheers when I was a younger writer I was a little vain one of my stories was starting to get popular and I let power go to my head slightly. But I cooled down and learned my lesson. I very rarely lose my temper and when I do I am quick to apologise or forgive.

Some people just can't seem to appreciate the time and effort that goes into writing. Even bad fics (which yours are not
) take time out of one's day. Sure, your stories get dark, but you warn readers of that beforehand. It's like demanding a show get cancelled because you don't like it instead of changing the channel. I say boo to them and keep up the good work.
