So I've decided to try and start featuring bits and bobs I see around the net on a bi-weekly basis on here. Hopefully that's not too annoying for anyone! It's just supposed to be a few things I've seen in those few days that I thought were worth sharing, and maybe fun stuff about what's going on with me/the site.

The artist I'd like to mention today is someone I literally only found out about yesterday called Kohtek. You can find her Deviantart here and her Tumblr here (warning: nsfw content on Tumblr). I'm very much in love with her style which features incredibly strong and vibrant colours, but still never feels over bearing. Go and check out her stuff, you won't be disappointed.

Pinkie is so very expressive in this. I also love the inset lighting in the shaded areas

Again, I love the inset lighting on this and the bold colours used throughout the picture. The hair is also has very lovely shading

Couple of bits of music I wanted to post today.

Just wow. Bloody Tears is one of my favourite bits of game music and this is a super solid remix of it. Unlike a lot of electronically generally orchestral music, the samples are surprisingly good and the whole piece is composed really nicely.

What's this, a game music medley that isn't just Nintendo music, but encompasses music from an insanely huge number of games? A fantastic little medley this.

I'm kind of stuck doing boring Uni paperwork right now, so I haven't been able to do much. But I thought I'd show off this recent shot from my engine, a little scene I was working on.

This scene was based on a bar I went to after a funeral I attended a few weeks back. Maybe a bit morbid....anyway, I really liked how the bounce light came out in this scene. I'm not a great modeller either so I was pretty content with how the models actually came out.

I'll leave you with some food. I sure do miss these when I'm up here at Uni...;_;
