So, yeah. Like the title says, I'm finally back from my day long excursion!
Also known as a job interview. This time it was with the other theme park... Universal Studios Orlando!
And you know something? I'm actually very hopeful on this due to the simple fact that they didn't outright tell me to fuck off like Disney did.
Always a plus.
See, the last time around, I spoke ill of my last job, which is a no-no that I forgot, so when she asked me: "What were some of the negative aspects of your last job?"
I answered as such: "You know, I really can't think of one."
I assume it worked, because although they didn't offer me a spot on the spot, they did tell me "wait for a reply, and if we don't reply in 90 days, feel free to reapply", so there's that.
I have a working phone (kinda, it's my brothers), but I forgot to give it to them... Hope that don't bite me in the ass later.
Also...
You guys were busy. I can only imagine what my Skype looks like.
I was smart this time, and shut it completely off.
So far so good...
5 hours to load and a about, oh, 6-7 crashes... Not bad so far...
Well... That's not too bad... Oh... Still loading... Ok...

I remember applying to the grocery store a few months back. I wasn't that nervous going in, but halfway through I realized I had no idea what to do, since I'm 16 and I'd never done it before. I might not have got the job if my dad didn't work there and if for the fact that nobody applies in the middle of the summer.

1376870 Well I use windows 8.1 final build (its the one they will release next month) and it works beautifully on my laptop it feels smoother overall then 7 did.
If you don't get a job, we'll all go to Florida and burn down that theme park.
Honestly, I dunno why you'd want to work in an amusement park. I have a friend who's been working in Disney World for a few years now, whom I finally met back in May when I went to Orlando. I think he recently transferred from Mission: Space! in Epcot to somewhere in the Magic Kingdom. He pretty much describes it as hell.
