Fics I reviewed in April 2024 (and one from late March)

By popular request¹ I'm bringing back this feature. My weekly Ponyfic Roundup reviews are, and will remain, on my off-site blog. It just suits me to do it that way, even if I'd probably have got significantly more of a readership had I written the blogs on Fimfiction as most (all?) other current reviewers do. However, a monthly... roundup, ha ha [Don't try to be funny, Logan, it doesn't suit you —Ed] on here is something I'd like to return to. Plus I can take the opportunity to ramble on about unrelated stuff like everyone else!

(On which note: if you like racing games, check out Copa Petrobras de Marcas on Steam. A small single-player-only game based around Brazilian touring cars, but it's good fun if you tend towards the sim (or at least simcade) end of things, it's properly free and is both oldish and actually optimised so it will run smoothly on just about anything.)

Here we go, then! I've decided to stretch a point and start with my last review of March 2024, since that was a rather special occasion, as you'll see in a moment. Happily it also ended up being a celebration of a quite excellent ponyfic. To comply with Fimfiction rules, M-rated stories are not linked to directly. Aha. Five-star reviews get that red colour every time, as long as I don't forget. It doesn't mean "five plus" or anything like that.
