Awwww this is so sad and sweet.
Great story! Any plans for a sequel?

No idea. I haven't thought about it.
Yesssssssss!!!!!
That was good. True generosity always shines through, whether you are a unicorn, a human, or a
robotutility assistance android!A wonderful little celebration of Rarity in a well-crafted setting. It's nice to see something post-apocalyptic that isn't full of guns and biker leather. Thank you for this.
Jesus, read the pinkie thing first and now this. Whew boy is this a one-two punch to my heart...
Saw you mention this story on Discord, and decided to read.
Excellent story! I think I would like to have seen a bit more of Rarity's new life, and Bloom's attachment to her, but it's really sweet as is.
Also, I had my doubts, but I do see what the Reviewer's Cafe was talking about. The core conflict behind this story might have felt stronger at the end if there was no (apparent) chance at all for Rarity's revival, say that Bloom realized that she might never bring Rarity back. This would make AB suffer more for the choice between staying where she loved, vs being with a friend she loved. You crafted this story with that struggle laid as a foundation by the end. Make batteries readily (or possibly) available, and you do relieve that tension, and so the strength of the ending.
Ending the story as the reviewer suggested doesn't mean hopelessness: it just means that instead of letting the reader end the story with that hope, you've more or less told them they don't need it.
Hnnnnnnnnnggggggggg
Howdy, hi~!
My goodness, getting a double whammy this afternoon on the absolute bittersweet grief. This was amazing. The characterization and unique pairing were spot on. I loved how well you wrote Rarity, she sounded exactly as expected and super fantastic. The world you built was intriguing in such a way that I would almost want more, but as is, the story is perfectly encapsulated within the plot that has been set forth. It was adorable, it was heart wrenching, and overall an excellent read.
Thank you~!
The bittersweet yet hopeful ending was a nice touch! It is interesting that you explored a friendship between Rarity and Apple Bloom. The way they interacted with each other was honestly pretty wholesome.
