I saw my first human when the new managers from Harmonic Composites visited Ponyville. From that moment, I was enraptured by them and made it my aim to meet one. I got that opportunity sometime later when Jolene Harris was shopping at the Ponyville market. I introduced myself and she was equally delighted to meet me. I've never known such true bliss and Jolene was unstinting in her efforts to keep me in that state. I'm her favorite "Squishy"!

The anthro dimension is easily our closest ally after the House Path dimension. Due to bringing "Loopy" into my herd, her home universe is now a firm third. We have very cordial relations with Princess Chryssy's dimension, and we maintain relations with many of the other dimensions we have visited, but this is mostly restricted to some trade.

The day before my fifteenth birthday, my parents took me aside to discuss a very important matter. They first assured me of their love for me before explaining my true genesis. Naturally, this was a huge shock to me and it was very distressing. However, my parents were able to convince me that that there was nothing of Chrysalis in me and I was truly my own person. It really only took a night to come to terms with the knowledge, but it did open up new challenges for me. Nevertheless, I faced them as Crystal Path and not the reincarnation of a hated changeling queen.

From the beginning, my primary objective has always been to work for the benefit of Equus and Equestria specifically. Taking advantage of the best that I could source from various universes was always intended primarily for the benefit of my world, but a wise person knows that spreading around those benefits gives you greater gains in the long run. My Earth-side family enjoys the result of this through our cross-dimensional company, and Harmonic Composites has given an ever-growing workforce a better quality of life. You see, I'm not trying to shape a world - I'm trying to shape a more harmonized society on that world. It's a daunting task even for an immortal alicorn, so I'll leave the high-tech toys for some other clever humans to discover... for now."

Cogs exchanges amused glances with Lavender and chuckles. "Twilight is busy learning about our grandfoals now. So far, every one of them has some kind of changeling trait. She tells me that they are dominant genes, so it's almost certain that all our descendants will have some sort of related extra talent. We can't wait to find out how they manifest. Personally, we don't care if they don't get a special talent - they're all family and that's what is important to us. As for other changeling/pony couples, there has not been as big a demand for her services as you might have guessed. Not every pony is in that relationship for having foals. However, there have been a few since Twilight perfected her fertility spell for changelings. There is no need for the Loving Deceit anymore. She tried to explain to us how the spell activated the process in changelings that makes royals fertile without making those changelings metamorphose into royals, but it was far too complex for us. We're just satisfied that other changelings can achieve a happy outcome like Lavender and I did."

It turns out that I can not only take on the form of other species, I can also emulate their very nature. While I was high on all the love that I'd consumed, I was more an alicorn than a changeling, and I manifested my special talent which, by the laws of this universe, seems to require a pony to receive their cutie mark, so I did!"
"Now, as for its true meaning, no, it's not what you and everypony else thought it was at the time. It's not a talent for making ponies irresistibly horny for the opposite sex or the like, although it's a possible side-effect. It took a while to figure out, but my talent is for amplifying the positive feelings between potential mates. Later, I unconsciously fanned the feelings between Path and Roseclaw, and they would not be the last. Happily, my talent only seems to work where true feelings exist - it can't create them. Sorry to disappoint you but no lust spell in my repertoire."

Yet we see you as an Admiral for quite some time, considering you already fought with the Swarm prior to meeting Cosmic Lotus. What made Star Fleet officials reconsider your dismissal?
