Private Investigator. In Spike's mind, no two words command more respect. Spike dreams of being a private eye, like the heroes in his stories, so when an actual case comes his way, the young dragon jumps at the chance to make his fantasies a reality.

It's just a shame that he has no idea what he's doing.

A royal guard must put duty and country above all else, even if it means personal sacrifice. For one such guard, that sacrifice turns out to be her freedom, her honor, and possibly her life.

Still, there are those who wish to speak with her, to try and understand why she did what she did.

After a disconcerting tea party, Pinkie Pie struggles to find answers to her questions. Why was she here? what was she looking for? Every time she thinks she has found an answer, more questions float up. The creature giving her advice isn't helping, either.

The setting and characterizations for this story are based loosely on a darker Alice in Wonderland theme. I had no intention of writing a crossover of any kind, but this scene just would not leave my head. Criticism, constructive or otherwise, would be greatly appreciated.
