Princess Luna hasn't held a Night Court for a while, on the advice of her beloved sister; she wonders if she even trusts her, wonders if Celestia is the one at fault, not her.

Being a good monarch, however, she tries first to see the fault in herself, contemplating the events of the first Night Court she has held since her return. Surely, she thinks, no amount of time could separate her from her subjects.

Lyra loves Bon-Bon very, very much.

Enough, in fact, to overlook the cream-coloured, beautiful-voiced, wondrous-smelling mare's raging, overwhelming, caricatural homophobia.

This would be the state of the union; Pinkie Pie, however, being as she is, thinks all this 'unrequited love' nonsense is nonsense for silly fillies and dusty old books, and as such decides to intervene.

Rainbow Dash, on one of her usual visits to the library in pursuit of Daring Doo's adventures, is rather surprised by a series of sounds coming from Twilight's basement; finding one of her books to be quite disturbing, she decides to investigate. In doing so, she finds herself confronted by what appears to her to be a terrifying secret.

My first ponyfic. Please keep in mind that I don't speak English as my first language; neither do I have the slightest fluency in Latin. Feel free to correct my mistakes and help mend defects in my economy of style.
