It's been barely a week since the Qliphoth fell, barely a week since Dante disappeared and sealed off the demon world. Everything should be ok now right? Wrong. Someones looking for Portals to the demonic realm to close them off, and someone else is looking for the same thing to rip the veil open. And both seem have set their sights on Canterlot.

Before Creation was concieved, before the fledgeling Precursers rose to Godhood; there was only the fathomless deep and boundless darkness known as Tehom - or as we we know it - the Abyss. They sealed it away Eons ago, burying it and Them under layers upon layers of Creation. And yet, over the eons, despite countless Cosmic Resets, They still find their way into Creation, thanks to the Delusional, the Dumb, and the Desperate.
And the Dumb has called one to Canterlot City.

Upon being denied what was rightfully hers, Sunset chose to leave her mentor's side and chart her own path towards her destiny. She believed that the the Mirror Portal would lead her on the path necessary towards her ascension into an Alicorn. Instead it lead her to a world scarred by a war between corporations, resistance factions and warlords. And at the forefront of these battles, were the machines known as Armored Cores.

In years past, every time Equestria was forced to defend itself, the nation found itself having to rely on its champions in order to defend it. Yet when the latest threat rears their head, all but levels Equestria and leaves two out of three princesses weakened, it's guardians are going to need more than just a little help when it comes to tackling a threat still lurking in shadows. So diving into Star Swirl's old tomes Celestia and Luna scrounge up enough magic to call forth a mighty warrior from beyond the boundaries of reality.
Meanwhile on Earth, seven months following the arrival of the Green Mist, a young man finds himself wandering into the city of Canterlot City.
