Moonrise is the beginning of an epic series of 10 stories by BlackRoseRaven that spans almost 4 and a half million words! If you like stories full of Norse Mythos, dark themes, and tons of sarcastic wit, check it out. The Immortal Game is a personal favorite of mine, and I've read it a total of three times despite it's length. It's well written, a great adventure, and deals with a lot of philosophical ideals. I'm sure not a single person on this site doesn't know who WandererD is, and this is his (in my opinion) brainchild. Sweetie Belle travels the multiverse, visiting well known stories on our beloved site of FimFiction. To Love a Pony is... extremely well written. It's a Pony on Earth story, and features heavy on romance, but it's a very serious work that takes it's time to develop into the romantic bits. Interspersed with hilarious bits of comedy, it's a must read for any HiE or PoE fans. Through the Well of Pirene I've just recently discovered, but that just makes it all more impressive that it made itself a favorite so quickly. Another HiE story, this is well written and focuses on real-life issues like the bond between siblings and allowing imagination to roam free. Interspersed with mythology of all kinds and an excellent adventure storyline, you just have to check it out.
