Here she meets Pinkie Pie, a wonderful mare. They talk, they fall in love. This is a story about moments in their relationship, some small and some large. As long as their together, they're smiling.

After finding Twilight's counterpart, Sunset Shimmer feels the need to find her own counterpart, and help her fix their mistakes. Finding and helping the other Sunset Shimmer won't be easy. Will the other Sunset even want to be helped?

Starlight is a Crystal Pegasus from a long line of thieves. They always travel, never staying in one place for more than a a few weeks, and she learns everything about the world from them.
When her parents are arrested, she is adopted by a mare she's known for a couple of days. Time goes on. She stays in the same home, the same bed, for over more than a month, and ponies seem to be warming up to her. But how much change can one filly handle?

This takes place a five years after the canon, so all characters are a little older and some got in relationships between then and now.
((There also is semi-implied child abuse in the first chapter(bruises and scars implied to be made by her parents). I'm putting that here because the rating button doesn't have that option))

What do you do when those you love have died, but you still live on? How can one come to terms with the fact that every new friend will eventually die, leaving you with notheing but memories and a broken heart? Would you even try anymore? Can you even try anymore?

The memories I have should not be mine. Nopony can remember events from nearly two millenniums before one's birth. It is something ponies just know for themselves, we only know about the past through the stories left by those who lived through it. Yet I break through that fact. How? I do not know, but since I have them, I will use them.
In these memories, lie things lost from history. Ponies believe what they want, and they prefer fanciful tales over dark truths. They have lived these lies for so long it has become a truth, those who remember have given up trying to stop them from moving on. How can they keep trying to give the truth when even they do not want it to be a reality?
I might have gone with that. Obediently following what society says is the truth. But the forgotten has been returning. They will have to acknowledge that what they know is wrong. They will acknowledge the truth. If all goes how I believe it will, I might be able to give closure to a family about a murder. The first murder of Equestria.
Yet even with confirmations that my memories are true, I have doubts. I ask myself "Is this real? Or is this the ramblings of a, quite lucky, madmare?

I upgraded the content warning to teen because of the next couple chapters. There is no on screen sex but it is talked about, and I don't want people complaining.
