Yeah, I really am positive that even though Twilight is an alicorn now, she will most likely remain in Ponyville.
2147913 My theory is that if she doesn't go back to Ponyville right away she'll likely set off to train and the season 4 opener will revolve around Twilight's friends trying to pick up the pieces while she is away. However they are attacked by a new villan who exploits the fact that with Twilight gone the Elements of Harmony don't work and so Twilight is forced to return and face the villan on her own and possibly exhuast her alicorn powers and revert to normal, or even master them to the point where she can switch between alicorn and unicorn at will with her alicorn mode serving as a super mode.
Of course it's only a theory.
2149707 I'm actually thinking something similar---that was more of the first fic I planned, and maybe I'll come back to it later on, but I wanted to practice with something smaller first. Ponyville's attacked so often that it probably needs a princess of its own for a guardian!
why are there not more stories like this one? Most of the Twilight becoming an alicorn stories are sad. I want more happy ones like this that seem like they could actually happen in season 4
We need more Stories like this one! Alicorn Twilight storyes that aren't all depressing, ones that show hope for the future.
