Final Words

Last words

to whomever it may concern,

This will probably be the last time anypony will ever hear from me, for matters I intend to explain in this very letter. When that unicorn in Manehattan killed that pony in an act of self defense, certain ponies began to accuse all unicorns as cold-blooded murderers. At the time, I didn't really think that anyone would ever really believe them, but shortly I realized just how wrong I was. What started off as rumors quickly rose to an actual movement. Everything started off fairly minimal: a few protests, some harsh words thrown at some unicorns, etcetera, etcetera. But things began to escalate very quickly. In a matter of two or three days, those ponies began to assault any unicorn they caught alone, one was even killed in an assault. That's when things started to get out of hand. Some ponies formed an organization: they called themselves P.A.U. (Ponies Against Unicorns) and gave every unicorn a warning. The warning was simple but horrible at the same time: either willingly have our horns removed, or have it removed forcefully. I-I just can't believe all this came from a simple act of defense... or the fact that some unicorns actually went through with the demands. Most unicorns refused to the demand of having their horns removed, though. I mean how can they expect me to remove something that's apart of me... I mean, if i went to Rainbow dash and demanded her to remove her wings, do you really think she'd go through with it?

Rainbow... shortly after the movement, Rainbow ended up joining that horrible group of ponies. I can't believe it... m-my own friends abandoned me. Applejack and pinkie stayed with me and rarity trying to help us, but this organization is ruthless. They don't just target unicorns; but anypony who they have reason to believe is assisting a unicorn. Of course, since Rainbow joined this... this horrible organization, she knew what Applejack and Pinkie were doing. Pinkie was executed in her sleep five weeks ago. When i found out, I...I-I didn't know what to do... my own friend... one of the only friends i had left was murdered; and for what? Trying to help me? Trying to help Rarity? Giving us some sort of comfort through this- this slaughter?!?!? It's just barbaric! And then theres Applejack.... Rainbow went to execute the apple family herself with a few other pegasi. Applejack tried to defend her family, but it wasn't enough... Rainbow gave Applejack a heavy blow to the base of her skull, effectively killing her; but not before recieving a heavy blow herself. Both died in a matter of minutes... leaving , me only with Rarity. As for fluttershy... I think she tried to run into the Everfree forest... neither me nor Rarity have heard from her since. I assumed she must have gotten... No! I can't say it! I can't admit that another one of my only friends left is dead- I just can't do it! When i heard that they were coming to get Rarity, I tried to hurry and warn her; but I was too late....

What they did to her will never leave my mind... the image that I saw. They had some sort of improvised grinder, and when they broke down her door they forced her to submission. Obviously she tried to fight them, but when it's five against one... it's kind of a losing battle. What they did was just barbaric and cruel! After witnessing this horrible event... well lets just say that I now knew what they meant by forced horn removal.

Rarity... shortly after the procedure, she committed suicide. They said that she hung herself with a piece of her designer fabric. I couldn't begin to imagine the pain she must have felt from losing a part of who she was... it must have been unbearable. I mean, what's a unicorn without their magic... and this only makes me wonder what I will do if they come for me; after all, magic is my special talent, so how could i live after losing my horn? I'm all alone now, but soon, I'll be joining my friends; for I now know who their next target is: me. Spike, told me to run, to try and save myself, but I've already made up my mind. I have nothing left anyways... the least I can do is try to stop them. Any unicorn who has been spared from this barbaric movement, I leave you with this: you're the lucky ones. Please, for me and all the other unicorns who lost their lives in this genocide, keep yourselves away from large cities...please. I don't want anymore ponies to die from this. Hopefully, after I'm gone, things can begin to go back to normal. Oh, who am I kidding? things will never be the same... no pony will ever look at a unicorn the same again. I can hear them: they've finally come. I leave knowing my true friends are up there, waiting for me. I'm not afraid anymore... I'm looking forward to seeing all of my friends again. Good-bye everypony... I hope that one day, maybe... everypony will live together without prejudice; the way it was before.

Twilight sealed the letter in an envelope that she had Spike prepare special. Walking torwards the bedroom window and opening it, she let the warm autum breeze blow through her mane one last time. "Rarity, Applejack, Pinkie... I'll be there shortly," Twilight said as she heard the sound of her front door shattering. As Twilight released the letter out to the mercy of the evening wind, she whispered two final word as the sound of a dozen hoofsteps were galloping closer to her bedroom door: "Goodbye everypony...."

Yes, because the princesses aren't immensely powerful beings that control the sun and moon. All they'd have to do is park the sun over Equestria for a day and use solar magic to wipe out all opposition.

Also, if the princesses did get taken out, and all the unicorns get taken out, ponykind and all of the planet Equestria is on is now dead. Because the sun and moon are now fixed in place.

No one is immortal, son. If they did that it could kill them too. You can't focus on killing 80 when they charge you. Not even the Sun and Moon princesses could kill a battalion of combat-trained pegasi all at once.

It's not a matter of being immortal, it's a matter of the princesses being powerful enough to not even be able to be touched.

80 trained pegasi charging at you? Hit them with a cone of concussive force and wipe up the remains. Or shield yourself and wipe them out with an area spell. Or teleport elsewhere and magic nuke the site from a distance.

I mean seriously if I just typed up a huge wall of text for no reason you would just get sick of reading and go read a better story that doesn't involve the genocide of an entire species because one of them tried to defend themselves against an attacker, and the element of loyalty PERSONALLY MURDERS SEVERAL OF HER MOTHERFUCKING FRIENDS. Of course, Celestia and Luna are hiding like little bitches because, you know, being the leaders they are they couldn't just explain what actually happened and calm down the ponies who were angry. Because, you know, ponies aren't accepting and understanding ever. And even if that wasn't the case, they are still incredibly powerful and would be able to at least hold back a crowd long enough to escape..

Thank you for trying to write to the best of your ability, with a bit o' the old magic called "improvement", you can write something awesome, like Waking Nightmares or The Winds of Change(Two of my personal favorite fics. Me, I'll be trying my hand at it sooner or later. Currently, I'm just a critic for new fic writers.
