This...is freakin awesome!! I'm already picking favorites in this story, with Mac being my #1 so far. I kind of picture him to be like Macmillan from Call of Duty: Modern Warfare. Tank reminds me of...well...a tank. And I'm assuming Phoenix is supposed to be Marcus in this story. Characters aside, this is looking to be a really great story, and that's coming from a dedicated Gears fan.

Just something I wanted to point out, since I assume you got that particular flashback from one of the books. Also, nice job with Big Mac's character. Strong, silent type...except for the very in-depth weapon analysis. Somewhat fitting.

This just gets better and better. I cracked up when Mac sniped the Reaver rider. Also, I first thought that the main squad was just a ponified version of Gears's Delta squad, but I LOVE the fact that they are their own separate entity. This is looking like a Gears 1.5 in the sense that this intertwines with the actual Gears events, which is what I assume you intended it to be.

Rainbow and Fluttershy don't come in until the third story. The story is essentially the first Gears of War from a different squad's point of view although the characters are similar to Delta squad they are there own characters. Marcus, Dom, Cole, and Baird are all in the story and are ponified and doing their own
thing in the story and will be introduced near the end.
