God. The emotions in this chapter.
Awww >< glad to see her opening up a little more and more each time
I started reading this a few days ago and basically binged the whole thing so far. Absolutely love the story and the budding relationship between our two characters. It truly feels like a genuine relationship born our of the turmoil that Midnight had to endure, and the first person she could ever trust. I'm not sure how much the story has left to go, but it's been incredibly satisfying to see her grow as a character and let go of the past. Also would be opposed to more lewd chapters with her lol
And thus, healing. The emotions in this chapter, right in the heart. It is a good pain.
Simply beautiful. I'm glad that I decided to give this story a chance.
Also, bright yellow Spitfire?

A small batch of succulent closure.
If indeed the dropped paper was intentional, we wonder if her micro-benefactor might still be around? Sounds like it couldn't be Theodore, from what he's oh-so-carefully revealed, but since we haven't met any other real characters that it could be, perhaps it will remain a mystery.
Writing this good SHOULD be illegal....& probably is.
At the start of the chapter I thought they were genuinely gonna remove a part from a spitfire pony bot until I realized it was a car and how dumb I am
As someone who's been through major, life-defining trauma, this chapter hit home in a good way. Catharsis and acceptance doesn't come immediately, and it's a long process. When it hits, though, when you can finally put that part of your life behind you? The relief is palpable.
This chapter was quite the emotional roller-coaster (Listening to both Nothing Else Matters and Low Man's Lyric by Metallica didn't help either), though I'm glad to see Middie conquer her past traumas and move on from them. These two really are one of my favorite fictional couples, and I love how John is able to be there for Middie and vise-versa.
I'll be honest, with her contempt for her beginnings I'm amazed she didn't take a shit in that hole before covering it up.
