I study wartime history in my free time and listen to a lot of first hand stories through audiobooks. My writing is simply a culmination of those stories and their shared traits. The only personal experience I can really attest to are the countless bomber matches I've played in War Thunder lol same thing happens in-game though, swarmed by fighters, chewed to pieces, etc etc. I'll certainly do my best to ensure that the story doesn't flounder!
