A strange storm tears through the skies above Ponyville, defying all logic and laws of magic. And in the middle of it Fluttershy finds an unconscious brown earth pony with no cutie mark or memories, while Twilight receives a letter from her future self with a cryptic warning.
Now the pony calling himself Doctor Whooves has to try and piece together his memories, figure out the mystery of the storm and somehow fit into life in Ponyville. Simple, right?

Glad to see people like it so far. Always feel nervous when posting things, so trying something new like this and having it go down well is a massive relief.
No idea when I'll get the next chapter done, I have other non-pony things to do first, but hopefully soon. Timey-wimey shenanigans are fun.

I'd be lying if I said I didn't do it partially as an 8th reference
But it's also the easiest way to get both worlds. The MLP slice-of-life wackiness combined with running up and down corridors from beasties. Or from Pinkie Pie with the welcome wagon, either/or.
Glad the characterization seems to fit. I was worried I wasn't doing the pony side of things justice ('specially Fluttershy during the prologue) but so far so good on that front. 'Course, we haven't had Applejack or Rarity show up yet. They'll be the real test.
I'm hoping to get the next part up by the weekend, with a little luck.
And we're back. That took waaaay longer than I was hoping it would.
Sorry 'bout that. Between writers block and every video game ever hitting during the last couple months, I haven't really been able to sit down and work on this for more than five minutes at a time. Next time around won't take so long, promise.

Also, before I forget, I personally have no idea what buttered jam toast tastes like. But a friend of mine, the one to blame for me writing this story in the first place, does. Apparently it does taste a little like cake but I cannot be held responsible if you're crazy enough to try it and it turns out it just makes you ill.
