I thought what better symbol to use than for the city of Walpurgis? He is no specific type of Vampire that has been pre-determined. You shall see why. 1435915 A while back I was doing a report on Medieval Europe. Came across "Werewolf Trials" Guy supposedly traded his soul and such to become a monster. Looked up old 'folk lore' creatures, witches, vampires, werewolfs. Reports, documentaries.. Also found a few books that caught my eye "Vampyre Magick" . Evolved into a lot more 'Astral Travel, Lucid Dreaming, Bindings, Invoking, Ouija, Magic... etc'. Very interesting though not many believe in such things.

but to have one's soul destroyed is to lose all emotions both good and bad which is evidently not the case here and you make it a point to say it was ripped out not destroyed
to that effect are his power in stasis?

.......hmm let try again you describe everything he does very very well written and the descriptions lead me to believe his soul is intact meaning he could have been "safety" soul-tapped to the affect of gaining his vampirism "safely" and non-bonding-ly I.E. he's not a puppet
meaning that the powers/ability's he has are yet to be fully realized sorta like having a sports car with a lock keeping you in first gear
anyway if this is the case were he to be reunited with his soul would those power/ability's would come to complete fruition and as often the case with contacts such as the one you hinted at would the other party involved (some big cheese in the deep realm i assume) come to be released or something along those lines hmm still confusing and i wrote it lets see

1) is his soul destroyed or locked away or just like gone/used by someone/thing else?
2) will he and if he does get his soul back will he grow stronger? (he shouldn't grow weaker i think mainly because it was offered willingly mean the changes are not forced and should be accepted if at first with difficulty)
3) if he gets his soul back what happens to the party that took in the first place?

4) how did he actually lose it?
