Transformation Arcana...Very cool. I always treated new Arcana I see as extra content type deal. But since it's a rebranding of Death then it's one of the main ones in a sense. Loved this chapter and I can not wait for more
It is.
THAT, is actually a very good point.
AH. Yeah, that's, that's a very good point.
And who are you?
Oh I know what you are.
Are you now? Because your design had green in it, something usually associated with Chrysalis.
Can't solve a problem if you don't know it exists.
Life of a Trickster.
I fail to see the difference.
You'd be amazed how often self awareness can make a difference.
Indeed...
Arcana Get.
No. It isn't. And given who else in the show is associated with transformation...
Really now?
Something smells of fish here, and it's not my lunch.
Bitch.
Mega bitch.
Will you now?
Ah, that hubris'll getcha.
Someone failed their Con save.
Oh shit, Silver's her Dungeon Master.
So that's how it works. Get popular and you can get closer to Silver.
RIP.
Bid.
Still, knowing HOW these things work would be valuable data.
Oh boy.
Ah, this could be bad.
Interesting...
I think so.
Right, the Diamond Dogs. Keep forgetting they were ever a thing.
Questions for later it is.
Probably.
Given what almost happened, no.
Given how Cinch is kind of a megabitch, yes.
Probably for the best.
Yeah, I'm not surprised.
So Rarity's been with the Apples for a long while now, good to know.
Curiouser and curiouser.
Hm. I suspect a new boss.
I think she's got the right idea. Going into Elysium right after that could mess with your Persona abilities.
That's 3 for 3.
*Faints*
Ohoho it is.
Fun times indeed.
And given what I know, it has me on edge.
Glad to see a new chapter of this come! It was as good as ever, even if it took a while.

Glad you enjoyed it. I'll admit the quality had me concerned, as it HAS been a while since I posted anything for it.
11204686
Yeah, that is always an issue, but you did well, and I both enjoyed it, and managed to remember what the hell was going on at least part way through.
11204687
If you need a refresher on things, I can summarize the story thus far, as it has been three years or so.
11204691
True, that might be useful.
Feels good to see this return and I'm greatly looking forward to more

The story thus far:
Starlight Glimmer, a girl who wanted to be a witch, performed a ritual to gain the power of magic, but at a great price. Upon completing the ritual, her mother died in a car accident, leading Starlight to believe it was her fault. She tried to commit suicide, but her soul landed in the Velvet Room, where she met Igor and Victor, who convinced her that her life could have meaning still. Starlight returned to the world of the living, now as a guest of the Velvet Room. She awakens with a mysterious key, and a Ring she feels now belongs to her.
Six months later, Starlight enrolls as a junior in Canterlot High Boarding School, her dream school due to the magical environment and due to her akashic records claiming she'd find her destiny there. Upon arriving, she meets her fellow dorm mates, the bubbly Pinkie Pie, her best friend Rainbow Dash, a reclusive girl named Twilight who doesn't go to the school and has a reversed sleep cycle oddly, her mysterious and alluring homeroom teacher Celestia, and her roommate, Beatrix Lulamoon. Beatrix gives off red flags that something is wrong, but her standoffish attitude makes it impossible to get close to her.
Starlight goes to sleep, where she has an odd dream that Trixie is being tortured in a demonic circus by the ringleader. A dream that seems a bit too real for her liking. Seeing her roommate tortured like this stirs Starlight's Shadow, who urges her to speak out. She does, and is immediately attacked by the Shadows surrounding her. After escaping, she learns that this is due to an odd affliction called the "Nightmare Epidemic", and that Trixie has something called a "Dungeon", a prison like dream that's endangering her life. At the same time, she learns of Trixie's abusive boyfriend Blueblood, who takes the form of the ringleader in the dream. Starlight reenters the dream with the power of her magical ring, now called a Channeling Ring, and once again faces her Shadow, eventually meeting her Persona, Morgana, based on the witch Morgan Le Fey.
Starlight meets up with Celestia and Twilight, who she now learns work for the Kirijo Group from Japan, who transferred to America to search for the Trickster. They're investigating the Dungeons, and need one with the Power of the Wild Card to put an end to this Nightmare Epidemic. With the aid of Twilight, who seems to have some odd animosity toward Starlight, they manage to rescue Trixie over the course of a week, leading to her awakening to her Persona, Elenora. Over the course of this week, Starlight also learns that Trixie is the daughter of the master magician Balazar Lulamoon, who vanished after his final magic trick. Though Trixie is saved in the dream world however, Blueblood's connections to the school prevent him from being expelled, giving him the ability to gaslight her going forward.
After helping Trixie find the secret to her father's magic, Starlight, Trixie, and Twilight continue with their normal lives, while also investigating the mysterious tower in the Dream World called Elysium, which feels similar to the Dungeons. Over the next few weeks however, it becomes apparent that Pinkie Pie, revealed to be a child movie star and model, has a Dungeon of her own. At the same time, her manager and God Mother, Fleur de Lis, seems to be controlling her career behind the scenes, and is making Pinkie sign a contract on her birthday that will give her absolute control over Pinkie Pie's career going forward.
The team enter her Dungeon, but quickly run into obstacles that without the aid of "A Chariot", won't be able to overcome. Said Chariot turns out to be Rainbow Dash, who's somehow been able to enter Pinkie Pie's dreams herself despite not having a Persona. She meets with Starlight and co, and awakens to her Persona, Eclair Farron. With her aid, they manage to find where Pinkie Pie is being held, but run into another issue as Fleur's shadow is invincible. Over the next two weeks, they figure out that Pinkie Pie's giving Fleur absolute control due to an inability to trust her own decisions. Pinkie Pie soon awakens to her Persona Serenity, and takes away Fleur's invincibility so the others can defeat her. Dash almost kills Fleur's Shadow in a fit of rage, but Pinkie Pie stops her, leading to Fleur instead having a Change of Heart, as her treasure (Pinkie Pie) has now been taken away.
The next day, they celebrate Pinkie Pie's birthday, where Starlight gets to finally have one on one time with the aloof student council president Rarity. Rarity asks Starlight if she'd join the Student Council as her secretary, to which Starlight accepts. Upon shaking her hand however, Starlight feels immense rage from Rarity, along with her emotions pushing her away, the exact opposite of the air that Rarity's giving off in the moment. This leads Starlight to talk to Twilight, who still has this odd disdain for her, and they discover that she has a Dungeon, one freshly made, but can't pinpoint the exact location.
At the same time, Starlight's closest civilian friend in school, Diamond Tiara, reveals some of her own issues. She seems to have a strained relationship with her father, Filthy Rich, as he wants her to give up being a cheerleader and focus on his plans for her future. After a bad argument, Starlight sees Diamond Tiara split off from her dream self due to her magic, revealing that now she's forming a Dungeon. One that's still within Elysium however, so they still have time to stop this before it becomes a fully formed Dungeon.
Meanwhile, in another part of town, two mysterious women meet in a seedy nightclub. The haughty and imperialistic Sunset Shimmer, and the nihilistic hedonist Chrysalis. The two women appear to be Persona Users of the same type as Starlight and her gang, and have been watching her. However, these two want the Nightmare Epidemic to continue, viewing it as a blessing. Before they can begin going after Starlight and her friends, however, they need to find a third Persona User in order to reform Strega. Fate seems to be pushing them in the direction of a young pop singer who claims to be suffering from the Nightmare Epidemic herself.
Skipped over a number of details, but this should be enough to help you going forward.

I have the in story equivalent of a week prewritten, so expect to see another chapter tomorrow.
11204760
Thanks, this helps.

Also, just in case you're wondering where the other Personas are from:
Elenora is from the book Elenora Mandragora: Daughter of Merlin
Eclair Farron is the main character of Final Fantasy 13, Lightning.
Serenity is based off of Sailor Moon.
Ooh, non-standard Arcana. By rule of bonus content this automatically makes Luna important. Although, the fact that her theme is "The Real And The Ideal" has me worried...
Oh it is so nice to see an update from this again. I have really missed it. It has been awhile so I might need to look back on a few chapters to refresh myself, but it is nice to see it again.

I gave someone else a summary of the story thus far. If you can find it, check that out to see if that helps.
11205249
I see it. Thank you very much.
Wait is Transformation an original arcana?
11206540
It's from the Osho Zen Tarot. It's a rebranding of the Death Arcana.
So are you still using the Death Arcana for it's own S.Link, or does Transformation replace it entirely?
