It's good to see more from you, although I should be sleeping now because I have a presentation tomorrow.
I agree with Trixie, that a real friends would give the benefit of doubt instead of immediately setting blame, and I'll like to see what she sends Twilight.
9036141
Glad you liked it! Good luck on the presentation
wow you did not pull any punches did you.
Welp, they're fucked
Please, don't apologize! Seeing that this story was updated made my day! And this chapter especially left me with some feels. I love it. Continue at your own pace, please and thank you!
9036180
Certainly not
9036181
Oh definitely
yay!
this was so freaking satisfying. cant wait to see more :D
Beautiful, absolutely beautiful. I love this chapter, keep up the great work!
Damn, Trixie & The Dazzlings just pulled a Triple H & completely buried the Rainbooms to no return!
And now the Rainbooms are in for a worse time. Sunset has the right idea about needing popcorn.
welp they're (rainboom) are boned.......
(Ah... there we go. The first great step on the road to recovery, and the most important... accepting that you need help to walk down that road. Accepting that you really can't do it alone... though it's a bit disheartening to see how much her lack of paperwork limits her... here's hoping that the guidelines and other support can help her, though I'm actually still scared for her... inpatient in a good facility can work wonders, and Supernova seems like the type who'd be caring enough and in enough connection with mental health professionals to be able to guide Sunset to a good facility... well, here's hoping. She's started down the road, and there are a lot of people with her who'd see her through to the end of it.
That? That's just a fun mental image. Very enjoyable.
Oof… that hits home. A lot of things hit home, however that one makes me flinch... I have entirely too many unpleasant memories of those.
And speaking of hitting home... the verbal punching that the five received was quite... cathartic. Hard to watch at times, because it was so vicious, so filled with venom, however... it was all true. It was all right. And I do think it needed to be said, to try to make the Rainbooms understand the extent of their betrayal, and that after how they treated one they called friend, they simply did not deserve to have her. Their loss, and it was a permanent one. I breathed out deeply once it was done, a weight released... what was needed to be said, was...
And I'm glad that it was Trixie, Adagio, Aria, and Sonata, without Sunset. Though she felt anger, Sunset was still far too fragile, nowhere near ready for the kind of unleashing necessary, and even coming into contact with the false five could have caused her great harm. It was best that her friends stood on her behalf to unleash their rage and take the emotional exhaustion and shock of doing so, to close that chapter, and make sure that the five knew it was closed. There is no rebuilding that bridge, no repairing that damage, and no making amends for their betrayal. They made their decisions and must now live with the consequences. May it prevent them from ever acting with such cruelty again.
Now, moving on...
… 'Sigh'... … Well, that at least is typical romantic tension and drama. They can at least work through that with a bit of patience, and perhaps some courses in combating denial.
Now, finally...
While I agree with Trixie, I would rather advise caution with writing in someone else's magical communication journal... I hope that Trixie at least doesn't try to impersonate Sunset Shimmer or the like, and acts with honesty to the Princess. Now this can still be seen as a potential betrayal of trust, which makes me... 'iffy' about this method. However at the same time, Sunset DOES have problems accepting help and taking care of herself, and she needs, right now more than ever, friends looking after her well-being. So I'm cautiously optimistic that Trixie will handle this intelligently, that Sunset Shimmer will understand, and that Twilight will freaking drop everything, get through the portal, and come over to give Sunset some much needed support! That's my best case scenario at the moment, and what I hope comes about. Still, not devoid of worries...
Ah, overall, I found this a very cathartic chapter. The big blow-up between the 'Rainbitches' and Sunset's guardian friendship squad, definitely dominated attention this chapter. It was a good move to define the memory of the suicide attempt earlier I think, makes it more real and understandable for those who aren't really familiar with depression and still gives a powerful moment for those who are. I'm glad that Sunset's friends had the strength to tell the five what we were all thinking, and have hope that Sunset will get what she needs to progress and become better. Not everything has been tied up in a neat bow, however there are plenty of hopeful hints, and we can generally look forward to the future with optimism. So a lot of negative energy released, and a pleasant eye turned to the future... very lovely, and I look to the next chapter with optimism for Sunset and her friends. Good writing.
Also, it occurs to me that the video I posted last time is even more applicable here... ah well.)
While i do think the Rainbooms got what was coming, I still think Sunset should stay friends with them. After all it's not up to Trixie or the Dazzlings to determine who Sunsets friends are. Still I think She would forgive them, even after all this. Maybe this leads to an argument with the New 4 and Sunset with it capping off as, "If you think I didn't want them to be my friends, then you don't know me at all."
And so it comes to pass that this is the 500th story to be added to my favorites.
P.S: Just kiss already!
You kidding me? I would have up and told them Sunset tried to kill herself, just so they'll well and truly know just how badly they fucked up.

With all six letters capitalized! If they think the call outs from the Dazzlings and Trixie was bad enough. Wait till a really pissed-off purple pony princess catches wind of this.
..........
I just have to tell you this, girls.
9036292
More like Raindoomed
9036539
ba dum tssss
That scene on the bleachers...too satisfying 😥
It's about to hit the fan. The Rainbooms may have an angry princess to deal with. And when twilight gets angry she is very hard to calm down.
Go Trixie adagio aria and sonata whop the rainbitches asses
9035819
No it’s all good I’m just kidding around the chapters are always good so I’m willing to wait thanks for posting the next chapter though
9036599
True I’d say that the next chapter is gonna be pretty tense
9036599
Possibly angry princesses, let's not forget about Luna and Celestia. I don't even want to think about what those two are like when they're angry, especially with how motherly Celestia tends to be with her students.
(Okay, I already left a rather lengthy comment, and the Rainbooms were thoroughly chewed out, however, after rereading the chapter again...
Right... it made me angry the first time around, however there were more crucial things to note and make note of and I got catharsis after the decimation of the Rainbooms. However it's made me angry this time around to, even knowing how much they were crushed, and even after considering how much MORE crushing could very well be on the way, as other comments have aptly pointed out. Perhaps that I'm still getting angry over it means it really is worth personally addressing, if only for my own sake... So, I'm going to say my peace on, the above quoted statement, not as a review for the story mind, however as a means of personal expression. And, excuse me, however I believe I will be making use the story's 'profanity' tag for myself to not hold back in this comment. Apologies in advance, and anyone who would rather not be bombarded with strong language would likely best be served by not reading below.
'Ahem'.
IT WAS YOU FUCKING STUPID BITCHES WHO ACCUSED HER IN A PUBLIC HALLWAY IN THE FIRST PLACE!!!!
You. The very FIRST ones to accuse Sunset Shimmer of being Anon-A-Miss, was you, all of you, because of the 'evidence' that couldn't have supposedly come anywhere else but from her phone. It was YOU who planted the seeds for the entire student body to target her!!! You who gave them fucking PERMISSION!!! You targeted her first!!!
And who really got those pictures? Your fucking sister. YOURS. Specifically! In your house! In your home! Out of all the RainBITCHES, you are probably the single MOST responsible for her framing, because you couldn't be bothered to LOCK YOUR DAMN DOOR!!!
Not your fault she was framed!? It was BECAUSE of you and your family that she was framed! And you who took one of the WEAKEST frame jobs I have EVER seen, assumed it was real because of photos, and then made a public FUCKING accusation, and subsequent abandonment, leaving her to the whims of a group who now have reason to believe that she's back to her old ways, because you're the ones who TOLD THEM!!! NOT YOUR FAULT!?!? I- YOU... GAHHHH!!!!
… … … 'Ahem'... While it is highly likely that they would have come to assume that Sunset Shimmer was Anon-A-Miss, because most of the body of Canterlot High wanted to believe that she was evil so they could justify their aggression and partake in feelings of vengeance without guilt, the fact of the matter is, that it was the Rainbooms public accusation as the first victims that likely planted the seeds of certainty in the minds of the Canterlot High student body. And their public abandonment that made it clear that Sunset was no longer protected.
Not your fault that she was framed? … You helped frame her. Your certainty gave the entire rest of the student body cause, belief, and permission, to assume it was Sunset, resume their aggressions, and target her. You, are guilty. Completely guilty. The only ones more guilty are the ones who did the actual frame job, and that pathetic attempt never would have worked if you had had even a modicum of trust in Sunset. But you didn't. You had more trust in your actual family, than the one you tricked into believing you considered family. And because of that, Sunset suffered terribly. Do not attempt to trick yourselves... you BETRAYED her, and set her up to be the school's target. You are fortunate that Trixie only had one hard slap, delivered very appropriately, in her due to her emotional turmoil. Because that statement was very much worth another.
So, in summary, FUCK YOU, you self-absorbed bitch, and fuck your attempt to assuage your own guilt. Only in accepting your wrongs can you ever hope to overcome and learn from them, and if you're too much of a FUCKING COWARD to do that, then there's no point to even contemplating how 'sorry' you are, because that doesn't do jack shit! All of you Rainbitches… accept your culpability in this. Accept that you are guilty, LEARN from it, seek repentance for it, and become better than the people who were able to put a target on a friend's back and throw her to the wolves. Do that, and you may yet BECOME people worth respecting and caring for, become better, become what Sunset thought you were and what you could still be to others. But if all you're going to do is try to deflect your guilt? If after all of this you can't accept that you're truly THE BAD GUYS in this story, that this was YOUR fault to no small degree? Then there is no hope for you... there is no reason to waste time with you if you can't accept what you did and learn from it.
Either way though. Leave Sunset alone. She doesn't need you. Even worse, you're bad for her. Evidence suggests you always were. And if she EVER wants to interact with you again? It will be on her terms, to her rules, and for her reasons, no matter what you 'want' to do. And never, ever, call her a friend... recent events have suggested that you don't even know what that word means.
… Mmm, 'ahem'. So, that was my rant... and it was mainly to get that off of my chest. I'm done now... thank you.)
This is some of the most genuine characterization I’ve seen in any fic. I’m not saying this sarcastically; I now this person, and his personality fits Aria to a tee.
9036483
Don’t worry, they’ll find out...
9036385
Allow me to elaborate because some of you don't seem to get what I'm saying.
Trixie's outburst was well deserved, however it is not up to her to decide who Sunset's friends are nor is it up to the Dazzlings. It is up to Sunset to decide if they remain friends. And while she may break ties with them, I personally think that It would be out of character for Sunset to not forgive them.
9038399
I think i may have caused a bit of confusion- Sunset knows that Trixie and the Dazzlings talked to the Rainbooms and she actually appreciates it; she does not want contact with the Rainbooms. I will clarify in the next chapter. I agree that Subset probably would have forgiven the Rainbooms eventually, but in this interpretation of the Anon-A-Miss debaucle, they fucked up far too greatly to be forgiven
9038488
Thanks for clarifying. And I'm glad to see someone finally gets it.
9036144
Thanks, the presentation went well (even though I didn't expect to be lead speaker).
I just binge-read this and I absolutely love it! I can't wait for the next chapter!
9039526
I’m really glad you like it!!
9040497
I eagerly await the next chapter.
9036880
Agreed though i would also like to point out that even when Sunset was into tge blackmail game she was smart about it and left no trace and Anon-a-miss was so obvious it doesn't make sense for it to be Sunset
9041219
(Indeed, just one of the many, many, MANY problems with how the story was written and structured overall... in fact, the Trixie in this story, is a major departure from the characterization of Trixie in THAT story, who was a major departure from the characterization of Trixie in the Equestria Girls series, because apparently the one writing her in the story decided that... Trixie is secretly the Joker and just likes chaos and anarchy? Is just plain evil for no good reason, instead of a fun egomaniac? … Yeah, the whole story is terribly illogical.
And back to your main point, yes. Not only was Sunset smart about it, however even people who weren't smart about it, rank amateurs, would be able to tell that that was a frame job. You don't have somebody DENYING it, in the hallway, to everyone, and then have a profile picture that pretty much looks just like her smiling evilly, posted up by that same person. It stopped just sort of saying 'I am Sunset Shimmer' and if not only Sunset, but anyone, had decided to be that obvious, then she would have just used her own profile instead of saying 'Anon-A-Miss' … which it so obviously wasn't meant to be. And of course Sunset WOULDN'T have posted secrets like that if she'd become evil again, she would have posted secrets that framed people in such a way that it looked like the Rainbooms were doing evil things, and probably leaving herself as the only confidant to each of the Rainbooms in private. She would have played them like a fiddle and they never would have figured out it was her until too late... kinda like last time really.
So, yes... the story was structured illogically and often with people completely out of character. Which is perhaps why part of the fascination of it is in putting it into a more logical 'real' universe with more realistic consequences to the whole... debacle. In any case, I appear to be incapable of answering things in a short version, however the short version would have been, yes, you're pretty much exactly correct. The only trace of her blackmail was her own arrogant demeanor and tendency to rule over the lesser student body from the first EQG, both of which were entirely absent this time. Would have thought that might have been a clue.)
Very well executed, you have a really good voice and although it's very different from how i write Sunset I love how you portray her fragility and the nature of depression and anxiety in her. Still not a huge fan of the her inner demons literally appearing to torment her, but that's more of a personal qualms than anything. Beyond that I'm loving this, I'm looking forward to the next chapter!
This is a very interesting take. Looking forward to reading more!

Most places you can't lock a room door but yes, they never considered a family member but for me it's Twilight never figured out how much like Gabby Guns this is.
Magic fails when Loyalty betrays, Honesty is deceived, Generosity scorns, Laughter despairs and Kindness Tortures. Who knows maybe the elements will find new bearers, Trixie Kindness, Adagio Honesty and Generosity, Aria Loyalty, Sonata Laughter and Sunset Magic

TBH the comic was written by a moron would couldn't handle this topic worth a damn, at least the upside is we get great revenge plots
You know you have fucked up when Sonata the Dazzlings equivalent to Pinkie Pie wants you head.
Let's break that down for a moment.
Trixie, amongst other things, antagonised the Rainbooms to try and inflame the tension between them:
(0:43)
(0:15-0:52)
(0:42-1:01 (note that one of the people she gives hell is SUNSET SHIMMER))
And in the same clip (3:24-4:00) proceeds to trap them under a stage with no food, water, or way of getting out. The fall could potentially have given them serious injuries as well. So yes, I would throw her question straight back at her based on her past actions.
The Dazzlings, on the other hand:
Wreaked havoc in Equestria in order to seize control:
(0:14-0:52)
Turned Canterlot High into a warzone:
(1:08-1:39, where Adagio openly states this)
Manipulated the tensions that were running high between the Rainbooms so that they would blow their safety valves:
And then tried to kill them, Sunset included:
Whilst what the Rainbooms did to Sunset is still bad, it pales in comparison to what the Dazzlings and Trixie did. So yeah. They're not exactly in a position to lecture people on what and what not to do.
Hindsight is a wonderful thing, Aria...
9481568
....I definitely see where you’re coming from, but I’m pretty sure all the awful things Trixie did in Rainbow Rocks were becuase of the Dazzlings’ magic. So that sort of negates her actions since she wasn’t in her right mind. The Dazzlings, on the other hand: yeah you’re right lol.
But it’s my story and I want my reformed sirens and gay magician to stand up for Sunset
Been rereading this story. You made this chapter really relatable to me at the start of it. The way sunset attempted was exactly how I almost did it I new how long I'd have to be alone how much I would need to take and when I would do it. Luckily for me I whimped out last minute and didn't actually attempt to do it for real. Your definitely correct about alot of it depression has ups and downs and its not a straight path. I was only 12 when I wanted to actually do it I'm glad I didn't I wouldn't have been able to meet all the amazing people in my life now.
9481568
At the same time the Dazzling were their enemies, this is was to be expected but it's much worse when those who call you frind stab you in the back.
9481902
Well said. It's your bbq and the food is served however you want it. Great story by the way
