Pretty good and you took my suggestion. Although, they deserve to be banned from the competition. I mean, Celestia is being too lenient. Luna should just punish them. At least something more because of the grief they gave SS.
As a parent, this angers me.

XD
Rarity's parents kind of suck.
I think the reason for Sweetie Belle besides her friends is that she has pretty shitty parents. Your kid does something bad and your best solution is to run away to a resort and leave your now depressed teenage daughter to care for her? It's a miracle Sweetie and Rarity are not in foster care.
I'm sensing Equestrian TwiDash shipping.
9107943
Not a parent and this angersme. They clearly should lose rights to the girls.
Thank you for connecting Gabby Guns and Anon a miss. This is why the time g of Anon a miss is poor.

You bring up a very valid point, if anything Rarity's more of a parent figure than Sweetie's actual parents, and not a good one at that, at the base of anon-a-miss stories it's a shared fault between the rainbooms and the cmc, the cmc do this because they're jealous that they can't spend time with they're sisters, which is primarily AJ, RD and Rarity's fault, for they barely even try to spend time with them, favouring hanging out with their friends and practically ignoring their sisters, all in all anon-a-miss stories are one big ball of fuck ups.
Feel free to add anything I missed.
May your chaos spread through the winds of time.

I think another thing to add is that maybe the CMC were still adamant that Sunset was still her old self. Cause remember Twilight essentially asked the rainbooms to watch Sunset instead of helping Sunset herself. Also the rainbooms are teenagers and true Sunset and Twilight in human form are teenagers but in Equestria they're fully grown ponies. Twilight probably didn't think that the rainbooms weren't exactly like her friends and jumped to conclusions. Plus Twilight's friends as RD stated aren't exactly clean slates either. Canterlot wedding, Mare Do Well, Gabby Gums, Smarty Pants, and even ones later like 28 Pranks Later and the Applewood Derby prove that no one or nopony are perfect.
Now with the Belles..... That is something even the show has problems for. Yes in the show rarity is a adult but they're still sisters and siblings regardless of age will fight. But parents are supposed to take care of the problem instead of letting it get worse. I wouldn't be surprised is Sweetie Belle was sued by a anon a miss victim and the lawyers use the absent parents as a excuse for her behavior. She wasn't like this cause of her own assumptions, it was because of neglectful parents who care more about themselves than their own children. They don't deserve to be parents but if they lose then all they'll most likely do is say good riddance and leave for good.
Anymore to add on this?
What kind of bull$%#! parents act like this
Your child causes a crisis and your first reaction is to take a vacation...really?
Someone call child care services, I need to report a case of negligence.

Not really got anything else to say at the moment, but this is a story type I love to ponder so I'll let you know if any details come to mind.
(Ahhhh, fallout? Well, let's see what this has for-
… Maturity and growth. Honestly, surprised, however... that's good. Whatever else that happens, that's a step in the right direction... I can respect taking responsibility for your own screw-ups and throwing yourself under the bus to do what's right like that. I hope she continues on that path, whether we see it or not.
That... well that saddens me. I feel sorry for them... trying to do what's right, then learning that someone you love and were responsible for was involved in something terrible and... just wondering what you did, what you didn't do, what you could've done... it must be one of the worst feelings in the world, feeling as though you could have prevented it if you'd just done something different, and you don't know what... … 'sigh'... well... sympathies aside, there's no knowing one way or the other. It was ultimately Scootaloo's choice... there's no real way to tell if they could have prevented it or not.
Yep... that must hurt. Putting such value on family, rallying with it, valuing the honesty and integrity of the family... and then learning that it had all been undermined from within, and that the rallying and choices made by it hurt someone who was innocent of the crimes she was accused of. Someone nice and pleasant and remorseful for what she'd done in the past. Someone trying to be better... yeah, that must hurt a lot. And that must put a lot of doubt onto things that had been previously held fundamental and just 'truth'... I can't help but wonder how Applebloom will think on things. How much of a hand she had in tearing the strong bonds of family apart.
… What?
… What!?
WHAT!?!? I, YOU, IT... GGRRRRAAAAHHHHHHHH... 'Hiisssssss' Ahhhhh… ah... okay... I'm not going to go into a rant about this. I'm just... it... right... well, this COULD be pretty close to Equestria canon actually... which doesn't make it better, it just... yeah... yeah I'm... I'm moving on.
Well, acknowledgment of self-guilt at least. Not exactly super-sterling rushing to atone but, decent enough... she may yet grow from this at least, remember this the next time she gets an urge to do something 'rash'.
Ah yes, typical Twilight thought... I'm not surprised she's internalized it like this. Well, we'll see how she handles-
… Well, Rainbow Dash to the rescue then. And also, the idea of the two just sharing a cloud to sleep on, perhaps snuggling together just for huggles, is a very cute one.
So, I thought that this Chapter addressed it's namesake, the Fallout, fairly well. Of course it couldn't catch everything, and goodness knows that most of the most direct actors weren't focused on, so there's plenty more potential sources of fallout and thought and analysis and growth, but it showed things from plenty of angles we didn't expect, like the most parental units of each of the Crusaders... though, it appears that title is only technical in the case of Sweetie Belle's... "Parents"... ugh... That's... … ugh... In any case, it was interesting to see, a good chapter, and had a lot of emotion in it. Very nice, and I look forward to the next chapter, personally hoping to see more sweet and cuddly between all the people who DON'T get to deal with massive guilt-trips because of three girls, their jealousy, and repressed animosity combined with a fundamental lack of trust.)
Rainbow's channelling her inner Kamina apparently.
There been be hell in the next chapter!
9107943
IKR. I mean, WHAT KIND OF PARENTS DO THAT?! Seriously, what parents would just go: "Oh my young child did something very terrible, but that's okay. Because of going back home and setting him/her straight, We'll just leave and have our older child do it for us. Man, we are the best parents ever."
(sigh)
Take note of this, parents out there. When your child does stuff like what the CMC do in this story, don't walk away from the problem and let someone else do it for you. Take action and take responsibility.
9108119
no
Eagerly awaiting the next chapter
Yay another great chapter
9110279
(Respectfully, I disagree. Read it again.
A vacation from their lives as parents. Angry, but best to let 'the kids' figure things out for themselves. She certainly hopes that they learn something, it's just 'embarrassing' and Rarity is a responsible girl. 'She'll set Sweetie straight, I'm sure.'
They're not there to address the situation. They're not GOING to be there, to address it. And that mindset suggests that they expect it to be 'handled' by Rarity and Sweetie Belle when they return. They are THE PARENTS. Guiding the children, handling things, being in their children's lives and giving them a guide through it, working with them, being the sensible ones, showing right and wrong, giving punishment and reward and all of that? That is their JOB. Their responsibility! You do not bring lives into this world and then just hope they work it out themselves! There are parents who do everything they can and things still go wrong, and for them I have respect, but you don't just say, get to it kids, figure things out yourself, I mean, it 's not like we're RESPONSIBLE for you even BEING here or anything!!!
… 'Ahem'. I'm sorry, however whatever they're thinking, whether they just don't know what to 'do' or not, they are essentially abandoning their children at a time when they are most needed to establish rules, and have presence in said children's lives. Instead, the implication is that they're not even going to address it, during a time of extreme emotional disruption and trauma. I'm not forgiving this... this is willful, deliberate shirking of their duties as parents and hoping it will all go away... it is utterly disgraceful, and if I don't stop myself from going on a rant, which I will in just a moment, I'll find a lot less pleasant words for it to I'm sure.)
9110279 I think that the moment you decide your child should take responsibility for your other, younger, child—who put someone through hell and did things that are potentially illegal—while you run away to a cruise so that you don't have to be involved or handle the consequences... that moment... is when you should really give up being a parent.
I get what you mean by too lenient or too harsh, but this is not a "you left the Legos on the floor and I stepped on them while barefoot!" kind of scenario. This is big and will affect your child's life. It's not something you should run away from or trust on someone else... they're your children.

Rarity doesn't have a clearer mind though. Sweetie betrayed her directly
…….Ma'am? Your daughter didn't TP someone's house. This wasn't a harmless prank gone wrong. Sweetie Belle and her friends willfully and maliciously set up an account on Mystable and posted private and embarassing information about their sisters and their friends, and countless other students, all with the intent of isolating Sunset Shimmer and destroying her reputation.
Your other daughter, who is still a young teenage girl, by the way, has not only had to deal with constant ridicule and bullying as a result of Anon-A-Miss's actions, but is also dealing with the fact that she wrongfully accused and abandoned someone she considered a friend. A friend that has already tried to kill herself. Twice.
Do you really not understand what's happening here? Do you not understand the severity of this situation? If you did, you would be furious. If you did, you would not even consider leaving your children alone for even a minute.
And that's not even getting into the legal ramifications of Sweetie's actions. There is a high possibility that the families of the students whose secrets were posted will want to take Anon-A-Miss to court. Do you honestly think two minors can afford a lawyer?
And then there's the backlash at school. Sunset was merely accused of being Anon-A-Miss, and she went through absolute hell. What do you think is going to happen to Sweetie? Rarity can't be there to protect her 24/7, and neither can Celestia or Luna.
But no, no. That's fine. What matters is how this affects you. How you and your husband are suffering from this...."embarrassment".
Enjoy your fucking waffles.
9110324
(No. I am saying that leaving two children alone, one of whom was betrayed by the other, in a time when both are going to be dealing with massive emotional repercussions, is just as bad.
The situations you mentioned are 1: NOT the Child's parents mistreating an unwanted and unliked child who they never cared for, and 2: 'akin to torture'... and the argument is then that they can either abandon their child, or torture them? … I don't understand your logic there actually.
Last I checked, there were a LOT of other ways to be present in a child's life and punish them for their wrongdoing without doing either 1 or 2. The point here, the real point here, why multiple people are getting enraged, is that this is ABANDONMENT. They are refusing to take responsibility for or look after their children, during a crisis situation. It is a parent's job, duty, privilege, and joy, to raise their child, and be there for their children, especially in times when said children need a guiding light... and they're NOT. DOING. THAT... As I stated before. It is disgusting, I do not forgive them, and frankly, I just think you're completely wrong with how you're looking at them and their reaction to the situation.)
9110546
(Then... I think we're just going to have to agree to disagree. I see this in a completely different light than you do, and vice-versa.)
Now I wanna know what the crusaders are doing during all of this. I think I get Sweetie's motives behind all of this: She feels neglected by her parents, and felt that Rarity was as well so she tried to fix it. Bloom and Scoots though? Yeah, idk.
...Also, do they even know that Sunset attempted suicide twice?
9111040
Yes, Twilight mentions it quite clearly to them
9111917
The Crusaders? I know Twi told the mane 5 but did she tell the crusaders?
9111917
The Rainbooms yes, but the Crusaders I don't think she's spoken to them directly unless it happens in a later chapter
Hondo and Cookie have been taking a lot of vacations, but this one takes the cake. It’s a little unnerving how they’re not livid because of Sweetie Belle being part of Anon-a-miss, but even moreso that they have washed their hands of the whole deal and delegated the punishment to Rarity. I dunno how Rarity’s upbringing came about, but if they’re gonna be this neglectful towards Sweetie and run away from their “embarrassment” via cruise ship, then they don’t have the right to call themselves parents, let alone caretakers.
Also, they’re going to be staying in a debtor’s jail from all those cruise ship vacations.
Spitfire, I know you're trying to help make her feel better but, it was worth trying in the end here. Rainbow's supposed to represent Loyalty but, due to a scandal that she thought Sunset did, which in the end turned out to be someone else, she ditched Sunset to the point where she attempted suicide, twice. Rainbow's very broken because, she has become a complete and total disgrace to the word "Loyalty".

Sooo....Basically, they are doing what they've always done....Foisted all their parental responsibility onto their eldest daughter.
Christ, it actually bothers me how little I know about Rarity's parents. The one constant I've found is that they are never around. They are always traveling, or on vacation, or whatever, leaving Sweetie Belle in Rarity's care.
Is that actually how they are in canon? What do they do that they are practically never home, and can seemingly afford nigh-endless vacations? How has either Rarity kept CPS from getting involved with all the trouble Sweetie Belle can cause, and has caused, whether a part of a CMC plan or alone?
Sorry....it just really bothers me how negligent these two parents seem. especially when i compare them to other parental figures like Granny Smith, or in this story, Supernova Lulamoon.
9107943
I'm not even a parent, and i share your sentiments and anger.
"Anon a miss might as well kill themselves to make up for the damage."
Said every hater ever. Hmmmmm....
9110375
A-fuckin'-men
9107943
I agree, Wanderer. As a father myself to my baby girl Laura, if she ever did something like this, I wouldn't shirk my responsibility as a parent. Unlike Hondo and Cookie.
I feel sorry for Rarity, having to take care of her sister 24/7. Her parents don't even deserve to be called that, since they don't seem to care.
This makes me furious.
This chapter suffers from burning your house down syndrome. Because it didn't seem like anyone really learned the lesson. This part of the story makes me feel like people feel guilty for doing something bad but lack the understanding of why what happened happened. And instead of people becoming better. It alleviates sunset but it doesn't solve the real problem and it this makes her now the only person that's not standing in a burning building but surrounded by burning buildings.
And some parts the same kind of fantasy like like it probably wouldn't go down like that.
