Thank you DevildogZicora, I got the inspiration from my friend Shepard who suffers from PTSD. He served 3 years in Afghanistan and he told me a lot of war stories that even made me cringe.

The thing is, you don`t care enough to remember. They died, you went home, that`s all there is to it. Only a madman would try to remember each one. None of the madmen make it through.
What war DOES teach, is to pick it`s battles better.
Neither Rarity nor Sweetie Belle would`ve bothered ruminating if they are "good" ponies or not. They`d both be very well aware they`re not. But trying to be.
Twilight wouldn`t care to mouth off pointlessly - why appeal a doomed angle? Imply the nobles in question are morons instead - "Sure, I could kill every last pony out there. But you have to ask yourself - what gain is there in it? Granted, right now they`re enemy combatants. They used to be, however, tax-paying citizens, and with some coercion they could become tax-paying citizens once more. Now, I`m not sure about you and your "noble" ideals, but I do prefer the majority of enemy becomes tax-paying citizens rather then corpses we have to bury at our own expense. So, yes, I will insist on and advocate minimizing casualties on both sides whenever possible."
The bits with Applejack and food are just stupid. They`re PONIES. They can subsist on damn grass. It won`t be fancy dinner, but it will satisfy their nutritional necessities.
Fluttershy`s reservations are admittedly most rational out of the whole bunch. Still, growing callous is an ever-present danger for any medic, particularly so - combat one.
Dash`s situation is stupidly mishandled. Why would princess want to brand her a traitor? War is over. Make it public knowledge she has PTSD, imply that it`s all rebels fault for damaging best of the best, and voila. Plenty of good PR, and no one gives a damn about what Dash herself thinks on the issue.
Pinkie makes no sense at all. So she effectively goes turncoat in a bloodlust, and still somehow survives long enough to make it into asylum after war? Poppycock and garbage, I say. She`d never survive the rest of war after going rogue on everyone.
