Battleship (Bonus Chapter)
"Kapoooie!" I cry as I blow up a piece of a scaled and functional replica of the Negotiator. I look up at Twilight and Fluttershy expectantly.
We are sitting at a table inside Fluttershy's house. Twilight and her are playing some sort of game about getting boats to fight on a board with a divider in the middle to keep them from cheating. Of course, I can see both sides, and I can only barely restrain my desire to blurt out giveaways to both sides.
"Um, thank you for the... realistic illustration, Discord," says Twilight. "But..."
I sigh. "Let me guess, still too loud?"
"I'm afraid so. Anyway, now It's my turn. B-3!"
Fluttershy stares down at her board, saying nothing.
After about twenty seconds, Twilight speaks up.
"So... was that a miss, or a hit?"
Fluttershy looks up at Twilight.
"You sank my ship."

Gosh this story is great. I really like how you write these characters, and the asexual-ish romance Twi and Discord have going on is super refreshing. One hundred and twenty-five thousand words just for a single joke seems like a lot of work no matter how good it is. Nah, I thought of it immedately before I felt the sudden urge to continue the story again. 
A great story, comedic, adventurous, and romantic at turns, as random as Discord himself.

Nice story, the ending felt a little bit too abrupt but overall it was fun and enjoyable.

I do see what you mean. Perhaps that is a symptom of me trying to get the story wrapped up. Although the 'ending' isn't actually the end of the story, it just happens to be where the story ends atm, and also was the chapter where the story gained sufficient content to be considered complete. But the story will just keep on chugging. Right now I'm working on the season 3 finale, which just happens to be almost instantly after the events in the story, and then I will have the equestra girls are to work on. Also, I might to insert extra chapters in the middle in order to give more attention to parts that need it, we will see.
