I live in England, so pretty much the only people who can own guns are farmers. It's very hard to get a gun licence in the U.K I think...

But I will say this, I'm glad you decided to write a sequel. This has the makings of another great story, and if you let yourself be pulled down by those morons that thumbed this down on only the premise of the main character being an alicorn... Then, sadly, I will probably have to find a way to punch you. Somehow!

Thank you for your comments. In fact, I'm surprised you found the first three chapters bearable - especially since it's pretty much ALL about Cantor...

ANYWAY! I'm overjoyed that you like this story so far - especially since it gets... unusual qualities for a it's type of story...
And there's no need to search for a long distance punching spell!
But hopefully I can pick up some more likes in later chapters! 
Okay, so far it's excellent. There's a lot fewer typos and the like, there's a few, but nothing worth mentioning really.
There's a few inconsistencies, like how can they have lasers when they don't really understand how light works? I thought that to build lasers you'd need to have an intrinsic understanding of the light-spectrum and how everything like that works. I'm no expert though, so eh, I dunno.
Then again, it's Equestria, where technology and physics are so inconsistent that it would make Einstein blush.
I'm really loving the longer chapters, as well as Cantor's 'Nightmare' showing itself in a way. Ugh... Cantor going all Nightmare Moon would literally spell doom for the planet. Poor aliens...
And then you're once again ripping his wings off later on? Poor guy, will he ever catch a break.
And I'm betting that he'll turn out to be somehow immortal, or close to it, like Celly or Luna. Maybe like his rapid cell-regeneration or something renders him virtually immortal. I'd think so at least, due to his rapid recoveries, that this would render stuff like death by old age nearly impossible. Oh, and he'd totally rip apart space-time if he ever gets a hold of that time-travel spell Twilight used in that episode.
