Second Chances

Coco Pommel meets the travelling Flim Flam brothers by chance in the small town of Hollow Shades. Coco recognises the twins from Rarities recounts of them and immediately mistrusts them, while the brothers are annoyed at her for almost ruining their plans. Eventually though they all teach each other something and realised the value of second chances.

Ponies are stupid. Everyone in this entire fic is stupid. Coco Pommel should have tried harder to convince the townsponies that the machine was crap. The townsponies should have recognized an obvious scam. Flim and Flam should have tried harder to make a machine that can fake seeing the future, since there are all sorts of ways to do it. Example:

Think of a number between 1 and 100. It has to be two digits, both digits must be odd, and both digits must be different.

Was it 37?

That trick was just probability and manipulating the human mind, but it can astound many people. Imagine what you could do if you really put of a lot of effort in.

This was still decent enough though, just because the characters all acted stupid doesn't mean the story is stupid.
