Oh, Sweet Silence

Chapter 5: Outside

Twilight slowly trotted over to where Fluttershy was standing. The two mares were standing before a grayed stallion, both ponies gritted their teeth in fear. The pony that laid before them, just only hours ago was happily helping Twilight organize old dusty novels. Now he lay limp on the floor, his body was snapped in half. Twilight winced at the thought of having to pick up the bookshelf and see what the rest of the stallion's body looked like.

Fluttershy eyes were full of tears. The though of having to explain to everypony where Carmel had gone. What will we do... Her mind resorted to some of the worst places, thoughts of banishment from Equestria stuck out like a sore thumb. She was an accessory to a murder. Twilight was a murder, maybe not a murder, but she would be accused of pony slaughter.

Fluttershy looked to her friend. Twilight's expression was a mix between horror and anger, but overall she showed guilt.

"... I'll help pull the bookshelf if you would please levitate it at the same time, maybe?" Fluttershy whispered as she examined how heavy the shelves would be.

" Yes, I'll count to three and we'll pull it back into place."

Fluttershy flew just above the bookshelf and had got a good grip on it by the time Twilight counted,

"One, Two... THREE!"

All around the bookcase, a purply-pink glow formed. The two struggled, but slowly stood the shelf back up into the middle of the room. Beneath the towering wall was a gruesome sight. Caramel's lower half was crushed and sandwiched against the floor. Fluttershy gagged at the sight of his lower intestines, which were cut in half and were leaking fluids all over the floor.

Twilight swallowed and breathed heavily. She then turned to the pegasus, and began to state her next plan of action.

"Were going to bury him in the snow."

"What?!?"

"You heard me, we're going to go out there, get as far away from the library as possible and bury his in the snow. Simple as that, no one will know...." Her words trailed off into mumbles, and her expression was lifeless.

Fluttershy thought about the plan for a moment. It at first seemed dumb, but with planning and good teamwork, it could be possible.

"Lets just go upstairs for now." Twilight advised.

"Yeah, I'll sow up your leg." Fluttershy offered, looking at the shredded up leg.

Fluttershy picked up Twilight and flew her up stairs....

No. The act of homicide ... or ponycide is a murder. The perpetrator is a murderER. So Twilight is a murderer who commited a murder.

Can't imaging why saluting a pony counts as crime... But I think you meant "slaughter"

The third paragraph feels a bit strange. I mean, I understand what you want to tell. But its grammatical not clear, if the second sentence points to Fluttershy OR to Twilight (you can just guess by context) A better form were something like:

Fluttershy looked at her friend. Twilight did this and that, but most she....

In the fifth Paragraph (directly beneath the "One, two, THREE"):

Caramel's lower body half was crush - should read crushed.

Actually, I think Twilight could come up with a better plan, as simple burrying the corpse outside in the snow... . I mean.. its an accident after all. And Equestria is not like the US or Europe with lawyers going postal.

Overall interesting so far. I wonder where this goes. But there are bunch of typos and entirely wrong words (as in, they are correct written, so your spellcheck won't react, but they are just wrong in the context). Maybe there are more, than I found.

Its supposed to be a big metal one, you know like the ones you find in library basements, just imagine that but all rusty, old and heavier.
