AppleJack's parents left when she was filly, and she never knew why. Mac knows something and is willing to console his sister and tell her the real reason. Mac seems to know more than AJ thought.
AUTHOR'S NOTE: I wanted to break the butch concept of AJ's parents being dead, so here's my twist on it! Enjoy!
UPDATE: GOOD NEWS EVERYONE! Chapter 2 is in the works! it will be rather short, although not too short, Im sure how long I'll make it, or whether or not it'll bleed into a third chapter, either way, part 2 of How The Apple Grows is on its way!

Yay first one, I hope at least. Anyway a good story, I would like to see it develop. I'm not one for harsh criticism, but I guess I'll try, just to help. You should try to read over your work, there are parts in there that could easily be fixed but also can make reading cumbersome.
