WOO. This story is back online and I couldn't be happier about it. Great chapter, badass fight, though I do have to say that I expected Max and Richard to last a little longer than a few rounds. I mean I know he's out of his element, sword and board going to knives and clubs is quite the transition but I still expected a little more from them. Wounds must have been hell on them even with the adrenaline. Edit: yup broken femur, next to the femoral artery, he's lucky to be alive after that. Dayum he's a badass.
Now that that's outta the way, I'm glad to see you back! Update is awesome as usual. Can't wait to see the thrilling conclusion, you cliffhanging bastard.
Please be my master for the last two years of high school. First off, how'd you manage to get into SCA in high school? We you just rich and lucky?
After an interesting fireworks show in the distance,
Ooo, oppressive Celestia. Me gusta.
At one point, Max walked past me, a large, fluffy, blue tumor growing out of the side of his head. I waved to the duo, who both smiled at waved back at me before continuing on their merry way.
Am I apparently the only one who's concerned about this? An intelligent, fluffy, blue tumor that can apparently wave passes by, and all Richard does is wave?
6114786 You could say I was born into it. There's bo age limit to the SCA. As for heavy fighting, once you turn sixteen you can fight provided your parent/gaurdian acquisces. In the Nid Realm at least.
As for financial aid, no, but most baronies have a simple loaner gear set that you can borrow there if you are missing a price or two of armor. Don't be afraid to go to a meeting and talk to someone there about fighting. Make sure to read the Martial's Handbook on the site and memorize the rules and requirements if you want to be proactive about it.
What area do you live in? I might be able to direct you to a nearby place.
You know, that moment when this story takes a turn for the serious and dark but I was still expecting silliness so I was listening to the Can Can and Those Magnificent Men in Their Flying Machines, and CNR? Yeah, made for a very odd experience while reading this almost half asleep.
I can't tell if it was hilarious or disturbing. I think it was more towards the hilarious though.
6211624 Initially it is. It starts by basically showing the similarities and differences, almost a what if scenario. We've just reached the point where the butterfly effect really starts becoming noticeable, so from now on the divergence will grow.
Am I the only one who's wishing for a more brutal human to end up in Equestria so he can go up against Dickflare and the dime a dozen human-haters?
Don't get me wrong, it's a good chapter and overall story so far, with the protagonist being a fairly likable character (if a bit slow, then again Max ain't the sharpest tool in the shed either... And neither am I for that matter so you know, *shrugs*)Â but after reading several Your Human And You-Verse stories I'm really starting to get annoyed by those constantly appearing human-abusing douchefag ponies like Darkflare and the unimportant crooked guard walking all over the Home Sapien species and more or less getting away with it.
I'd really like to see more Your Human And You-Verse stories like 'Your Human and You: Twisted Product' where the human is an even more psychotic bloodthirsty murderer than the ponies are. Give them a taste of their own medicine y'know?
I mean, most of the humans brought over are stand up guys who don't resort to killing, and I'm cool with that. But I just feel like people forget how horrifying and dangerous a human being can be, especially the ones who were like that from the start.
I'm not gonna lie and say that I'm a fan of our species and how we do things, but even I have some pride in my species' heritage. Humanity is not to be trifled with so callously. We are, while imperfect, a proud species nonetheless. We are driven. We are strong. We are determined. And above all, we are DANGEROUS. Though most of these may be our darker aspects, they are still a part of what defines us and makes us unique. And by remembering them it shows that we are far from the helpless animals the races of Equis assumes us to be. We thrive in the battlefield, and make ourselves at home among conflict. We started two world wars, more genocides than I care to admit, have erected and toppled hundreds of civilizations through the centuries, invented weapons of mass destruction so great that if unleashed it would tear our world Asunder. We kill, we conquer, we fight, we destroy,  We ofteNTIMES RANT UNCONTROLLABLY FOR NO GOOD REASON AT ALL!!!!!!!!
Ahem, the point I'm trying to make is... Well, pretty much that I'm whining for some stories that show how dangerous we as a species truly are and how utterly boned Darkflare and his legion of anti-human halfwits would be if there was a less kind human that got transported to Equestria (I'd pay to see The Punisher end up there).
I'd honestly like to do it myself if I didn't have a severe lack of confidence in my writing skills and wasn't afflicted with lazyas hellus (a horrible medical condition if there ever was one).
That, and I'm not good with deadlines. And just like everybody else I know all too well what a pain it is to wait for your favorite story to update. I don't want to be one of those guys. Even if they do tend to have their reasons.
Anyway, after reading my comment I think I might've gotten sidetracked from my original message of 'this is a good story, looking forward to more' just a little bit. Oh well, I did just write everything down already so might as well not delete it.
Glad to see you're stories still on going, hope everything's been good with you (and Max), and I hope Richard gets to snap off that red bastards horn and neuter him like the cur he is later in the story.
6229350 The following message may spoil some aspects of the future story. Reader discretion is advised.
Richard is most definitely an honorable man who has never once been angry or attempted to actually hurt hurt someone on the list fields of the SCA... However, being exposed to such brutal and downright deadly aspects of life, his predispositions of the world will change. And unlike Max, he's trained to kill and fight. And he is stubborn as well. Just wait till the psychological effects take place. Let's just say some chapters are soon to get bloody.
And before you ask, this was planned long before your comment. Glad to see you are enjoying yourself though.
6390815 Worry not, I'm working on it still... However I hit an unexpected snag and now I'm in college so... It's hard finding, free time motivation, and worst of all the right words...
Trade Secret: I'm actually about halfway done with the chapter, and if I complete it the way I planned it it will be far longer than any chapter I have previously made.
6748093 Heh. I didn't even expect you to write back so quickly. I understand that it probably wasn't your best. Most people here on this site are pretty nice.
7076769 Good news and bad news for you. h I am working on the chapter, but due to some... personal issues ...I am unable to write much easily. I may or may not have a chapter and/or a teaser up during the next week but no promises
Holy shit, this story is alive...
...holy shit, I think I died.
6108531
Whatever do you mean?
IT'S ALIVE! IT'S ALIVE!
srsly, great chapter though.
6108544 I died... the pit fight... the ending.
Nevermind.

RIP in piece Max 2014-2015
6108627
Worry not, young padawan. For you are far more tenacious than you give yourself credit for.
oooooooooooh. nice pit fights. the duo was an interesting thing (that was probably coming a mile away now that i think about it).
HOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOLY SHIIT!
Now that that's outta the way, I'm glad to see you back! Update is awesome as usual. Can't wait to see the thrilling conclusion, you cliffhanging bastard.
6108627 Other universe? Um....

6115513 Hm. Is there any way to see if there's a local one near you? (I'm assuming that how it works.) And is there any kind of financial aid program?
6115757
Go to www.sca.org.

6115776 Erm...Pleasanton? Just search it up on wikipedia, it's just famous enough to have a page.
Interesting spin of the "your human and you" universe, i really enjoyd Reading it, hoping there will be a new chapter out soon.
God I feel stupid.
I thought the title reference to the MC wearing armour, then I realize its a wordplay.
There Are More than One.
6122104
It was both... So I guess you're only half stupid?
A... Hmm... Ah! a half-wit!
That's not much better... Uhh...
I don't think you're stupid?
6122275
Awwww thank you
Still, I should have realize it earlier

Couldn't help but shout "E! C! W!" when they were in the fight pit.
6122275 This seems like then same story with an extra character which I don't mind I always find it interesting

6211919 Oh. Also get that armor used It's just been sitting there.

Woohoo!
No. Wait... That came out wrong.
Anyway, thanks for telling me what might be coming up next, and I already can't wait to see the next chapter. No need to rush though.
Is this dead? D:
This is the best YHaY out there, if not one of the top 100 fics on the entirety of Fimfic. It would be a horrible shame if this died.

Please tell me this one actually gets home. . .
He still has a family and loving gf
6553909
Now that would be telling.
Gordon, you wouldn't happen to actually be a member of the SCA? My SCA name is Leo, Kingdom of Ansteorra, Province of Mooneschadowe.
6559453
I'm a Midrealm man myself. Fought the last four pennsics. I'm a second gen Scadian
6560438 Second Gen myself. My Father was the one who got me interested when I was a wee lad.
6560686
Technically, I was a member in utero.
6654643 Honestless it's because most people on here think bipolerly or just don't care to bring it up because some people take offence to it.
6736227
The human body operates normally at 98.6 degrees Fahrenheit. Though if you meant Celcius or Kelvin that's a bit different.
6737287
I meant Celsius. Sorry, it slipped my mind that people in the US measure it in Fahrenheit.
6748063 That comment was a 100 weeks ago and not one of my best...

6748120 I try my best to be nice. Exceptions are when someone asks for my opinion, then I will answer truthfully what I think.
6748219 Same here, I suppose.
6748329
6748219
People commenting on my story and reminding me that it exists fills me with DETERMINATION.
6750618 Determination you say? Fun! This story is one of the best Your Human And You stories that I've read. Besides the original, of course.
6809549
I prefer hexproof
Plz message me when the next chapter come out.
