I like this cause I understand it so well. However, it really isn't much of an mlp fic.
Don't be discouraged thought! I have a suggestion. Why not make your character a Royal Guard and change the story slightly so that it takes place in equestria. The storys message could remain untouched, you just change a few details.
For example, my OC is basically me, but I made his background story in fitting withthe show. Hes an alcoholic, ptsd royal guard who lost some friends furing the changeling invasion. Not a hard thing to create. I'm just suggesting.
