Chapter 6 Prey

Hey guys This might be last to write,I'm not leaving fimfiction...I just taking time off. This chapter is what I wrote in my journal but don't worry,I will be planning to write even more and thank you so much for waiting.

I decided to update all my chapters so experience some changes.

Spike and Twilight started to observe the forest. Twilight begins to notice that the forest is looking different when the descend farther than the forest. Now she wonders why the Everfree forest is feared in Ponyville.

"Spike are you sure you know where the temple is?

"I do." Spike replied." I know where the the temple is at." Spike said to Twilight who started to look terrified."Hey Twilight don't worry, I started to remember those two trees from before." Spike stated to Twilight who gave a silent sigh.

"Lets just thank Celestia that there is no creatures around other wise we might be in trouble."Twilight thought as they traveled further into the Everfree forest soon stop as they see one of the trees had a large scratch marks on them.

"Spike was that there before?"

"No and I also think that those scratch marks are freshly new."Spike and Twilight gulped for a bit then headed straight further to the forest.

"Maybe we should find the girls and leave?" Twilight waited for a replied from Spike however she sees Spike at the tree however it appears to look like like Spike was study it.

"Spike we need to-

"I don't think this is a Timberwolf."

"huh?"

"Look Twi, just by seeing how the scratches is facing the trees, it looks like it was lunging at something normally four legged animals lung at prey?" Twilight check to see if there is any prints from the prey.

"You got it something Twi?" Spike continue to study the tree if there were any more clues until hearing a loud gasp behind him.

"Twilight whats wrong!?"Spike quickly turns back only to see Twilight running off without him.

"Twilight wait!" Spike went to where she was standing on to see what the prey's prints look like.

"Wait a minute...Those prints....those are hoofprints! I can't leave Twilight by herself!" Spike started running at the direction where Twilight was heading at. While running Spike started to reach over his back and started to unsheathe one of his swords. Spike continue to run after Twilight however didn't realize that an mysterious creature crept behind the bushes silently snaring at two new prey.
