I agree, I feel that it was too rushed. You should wait until later chapters for them to fall in love. Again, the reactions other people had to Dash isn't very realistic. And instead of being okay with being stuck on a completely different planet than her own, make her wonder if she'll see her friends ever again and if she'll ever get back to Equestria.
