Coins quietly pass from pony to pony and business to business everywhere in Equestria. They've been in service for centuries, used for everything from basic fruit sales to bribing pirates, but no one thinks about them twice. Even the most basic coin has the most fantastical stories to tell.

As she keeps running into the same coin across the country and throughout the centuries, Celestia wishes she knew what that story was.

Broomfield is a town that's going places. They've got a railroad now, which will make the town grow . . . but brings along a new problem: ponies not being aware of the train coming.

What they really need is a gate to prevent ponies from crossing in front of the train, but a gate means that somepony has to control it.

A thousand years ago the night sky was a living tapestry: a constantly changing canvas filled with Luna's latest works. Then she got banished and ponies got used to their stargazing endeavors being totally static.

Now she's back and filled with newfound inspiration.

Too bad not everyone approves of her hobbies.

When she was a filly, Tally had a clockwork toy train. Now that she's on Earth, she decides to see what humans have to offer.

She was not prepared for a proper train show. Digital control, smoke, lighting effects, and sound? Check. And more scales than she has hooves, catering to every need.

Including those who only have space in their apartment to put a train on a coffee table.

Twilight wants to study.
Eating gets in the way of studying.
Therefore, Twilight wants to stop eating.

Long ago, there was a great happening all over: on the ground, in the sky, and among the stars. When four tribes lived in harmony, the most precious was torn in two.

Twilight is here about something important for the school, and Starlight can't even pay attention to her. She's too distracted by Twilight's wings. Would it kill Twilight to take better care of them? Will it kill Starlight to take matters into her own hooves?

Luna invites Twilight on an outing. She has something she wants to show her. Something no one has seen in a long time.

For 1,200 years, on the first full moon after the harvest, Celestia has made the journey to the stone circle in the woods, raised in the memory of the Old Gods. Tonight will be no exception.

Inspired by some recent discussions on Reddit about which IRL religions the various ponies would follow. It struck me that Celestia, as old as she is, was probably a hardcore OG pagan in her youth--and likely still was, even if she had to keep that fact secret.
