Ruminating on a pre-war radio play the pair listened to in days past, Metalscrap, taking the new name Onyx Gallantry, rattles the chains of his increasingly distant raider past when he offers himself to Little Hope, a traveling hybrid between cat and unicorn. Strong ponies don't have hearts. Raiders don't feel. But sometimes, Hope can save even the most monstrous of ponies.

Arriving back home after making a delivery, Ember and Blitz try to get some rest. But a small band of raiders have other plans... Nights in the Equestrian Mojave are never boring.
