I heard the news of Pastel Candy Candies committed suicide.

My thoughts and prayers are to her friends and family, and let God be you all to be strong for Pastel.

A lot of kids came by my house this year. I'm only out for like half an hour and several crowds of kids stop by to get one piece of candy each. I had to run back inside for several refills.

So, I made another batch of those candied bacon Mother's Day beignets, and I had a bit of candied bacon leftover. So, being the thrifty (and hungry) fellow I am, I slapped about two and a half strips worth of chopped, perfectly crisp and crunchy candied bacon onto a slice of bread, following a thick layer of Reese's peanut butter and a similarly thick layer of strawberry jelly (no seeds, of course).
