I did not expect to finish a Mayor Mare story before the Dazzlings story I've been working on for longer, but them's the breaks sometimes. In terms of writing, the Dazzlings story is more complex, though it doesn't seem like it. Fixed the spatial issues in the three chapters of “…The Furthest Stars;” hopefully they didn’t cause much confusion. The story itself should do that just fine.

“Brochure from the Middle of Nowhere” was an eleven thousand-word trash heap, collapsing in utero, which means it was all a waste of time, and boy, do I LOVE wasting time.
