I know it was only a week, but honestly, it felt much longer. Funny how time works like that. It feels like forever since I've worked on a Being a Better Writer post, but at the same time, it feels like just yesterday I finished editing Colony ...
Time does weird things. And moves in odd ways. Speaking of which, that's probably a good topic for another BaBW post: Time. That one's on the list now.
Today's topic is a bit of the inverse of the one I wrote last week. I didn't intend for this at first—in fact I had no plans for an inverse article when I sat down last Monday; the appearance of this one is entirely coincidence brought about by something I was reading.
"Go! Go! Go!" Natalie didn't need to be told twice. With the clock ticking, the building was only minutes from coming apart in a blast that would level half the block. If she could get away before then, she had a chance, but if not ...
"Go!" the voice in her ear shouted once more.
"I'm going!" she snapped, crouching by the body of the colonel and retrieving his sidearm. Some of his thugs could still be standing between her and the exit.
Welcome back, readers (and by extension, writers). It’s time for another Being a Better Writer post. The topic for this week? It’s another request, and an interesting, if complex, one. Today, we’re going to discuss how to write a scene of warfare. Not a shoot-out, or a simple fight, but a full-on war.
Sentence construction is one of those touchy things with a lot of novice writers. Personally, I blame the education system for not doing an adequate job explaining things, but the truth of the matter is that there are a lot of young writers out there (or worse, novice critics) who pass judgement on their own or others work without knowing much about what they’re actually passing judgement on. In the best case scenario, this leads to confusing feedback. In the worst-case scenario? Bad
Oh boy.
Yep, this post had to come at some point or another. Given the charged climate of “PC” these days (that’s “political correctness,” not “Personal Computer,” sadly) days, this topic is one that’s come up again and again in writing. Online, offline … just about everywhere.

Hello everypony, I am here to tell you that my story Whispers from the Future is being Discontinued as of 01/23/19 due to myself losing track of where I wanted it to go.
I do have plans of rewriting it later on, however I am focusing on a new story idea right now and not worrying about multi chapters at this very moment.

Got to 2700 words in total for the chapter this week. Would have finished the Diamond Tiara part this week, but for some reason I got really ill for my two days off so I was definitely not in my right mind to write anything truly coherent. Hopefully with how the next week is, busy but not as bad as I expected, I might finish it.

Dunno when, but I'm going to start posting stuff next week. Don't know how much stuff I will post, but something is going up. I've been on a roll with my art, and I've been trying to get more and more writing done on top of that. Maybe it's because I've be re-immersing myself into more and more music, or I'm finally getting out of this weird funk I've been having for a couple years. Whatever it is, it's effective.
But well, my man Max became the world champion so I had to celebrate...
It was awesome! I think it could have more dinosaurs, because great part of the movie focus on people. But Blue and Rex team up to end with Indominus was... AMAZING. Best part, 'nuff said. Also the Mosasaur part was amazing too when watching in 3D. BTW, I learned that: Blue is best dinosaur.
