Pinkie Pie visits Prince Rutherford and the Yaks. While there, an avalanche falls on the entire rustic village of Yakyakistan. Pinkie Pie suggests that she go to get the other ponies to come help but the proud Prince and Yaks refuse.
Rainbow Dash is distressed when she and Pinkie Pie discover that A.K. Yearling has announced her retirement from writing the Daring Do book series, thus ending her adventures as the titular hero.
When Pinkie Pie thinks she sees Rainbow Dash throw away one of her pies, she suspects the worst. Pinkie Pie attempts to catch Rainbow Dash in her web of lies…using pies.

And here's the second episode. Note second episode, not part 2. Yeah, they didn't do a two parter this year, though they marketed as such and had them back to back.
There isn't a whole I can say about this episode besides "I don't like Rumble, or his fake ideals. But the CMC and Thunderlane are still likable, and the message that it's okay to do more than one thing".
After watching the Season 7 finale of MLP: FiM, here are my thoughts on how the Elements of Harmony and the Pillars’ Virtues have similar traits to each other:
1. Honesty & Strength: It takes a strong heart and will to keep choosing to tell the hard truth instead of an easy lie.
2. Kindness & Healing: A wounded heart needs kindness to heal.
Daybreaker: Ugh. So much black. We get it. You're sad.
And she says this to Nightmare Moon… burn.
Finally, an episode featuring the sisters in a main role! While my expectations leaned towards a more comedic episode, I never thought they would ever put in this much heart.
Season 7 has now begun. The most remarkable thing about the opening was how underwhelming it was. Nothing actually bad about it, but we are accustomed to the opening episodes involving epic battles between ponykind and the forces of evil, in which a thousand-year old monster, or something, emerges to threaten the fate of Equestria or the Crystal Empire, and Twilight Sparkle and friends get together to blast it with rainbows and lasers.
This is pretty much an accurate depiction of babies. They suck the life out of everything and everyone around them, because they require 100% of your attention at all times.
The moral of this latest episode, "A Flurry of Emotions," is a simple one, but it's a lesson for the ages: always listen to Spike. I, like a lot of people, really hated Spike when the show first started. He was annoying, and weak – a carryover from the old "tag along wimpy kid" trope that defined the character back in prehistoric Equestria, G1.
Starlight Glimmer is sent to solve a friendship problem between Princess Celestia and Princess Luna; when it's clear that the problem is that the royal sisters don't appreciate one another, Starlight impulsively switches their cutie marks!
When Rainbow Dash's parents discover she's a Wonderbolt, they show up at every event to cheer her on. However, their unabashed enthusiasm proves to be rather embarrassing and pushes Rainbow Dash to the brink.
So I read the synopsis for the finale and it is a bit spoilery, it is as follows:
Shadow Play, Part I premieres Saturday, October 28 at 11:30a/10:30c When Sunburst discovers the lost journal of Starswirl the Bearded, Twilight becomes obsessed with saving her magical idol from a thousand-year-old prison.
When Starlight gets a visit from Sunburst, she discovers that he has tons in common with her friends and starts to wonder if he still has anything in common with her.

Okay, I’ve got to make this short because I have school work. THIS EPISODE WAS AMAZING! It was wonderfully meta and pretty much summed up how I feel about all the other bronies who, in my opinion, spend WAY too much time complaining about the show. I think “Flurry of Emotions” may just have found a rival for my all-time favorite episode. (Please don’t ask me for my opinion about “The Perfect Pear.” I liked it and enjoyed it and would watch it again, but I didn’t like it enough to
