Welcome back writers! Yes, it’s Monday once again, and that means we’re back with another Being a Better Writer to talk about!
Welcome back writers! Yes, it’s Monday once again, and that means we’re back with another Being a Better Writer to talk about!
Good afternoon readers! Yes, I know today’s post is a little late. Just a tad. And that’s for a reason. The same reason, in fact, it might be a bit rougher than normal: I’m ill today, but didn’t feel like skipping a week of Being a Better Writer. So my mind is a little muddled.
Or, recognizing disparate audience expectations.
Okay, maybe the title makes it seems like it is more serious than it is. XD
Anyway guys, I just wanted to let you know the story is still NOT dead, I am still very much working on it, but remember, we are two people working on it. Delays can happen due to real life stuff, multibly that by two when two people are involved.
Welcome back, writers! It’s Monday again, and Emancipation Day atop that! Which is a new enough holiday that I think I’ll just forgo any break and work like normal. Especially since I really want to be writing Axtara – Magic and Mayhem right now.
Welcome back, writers! It’s time for another Monday installment of Being a Better Writer!
Well, and some news. I’ve got the serious news, and I’ve got the chill news. We’ll go with the serious news first: I will be in Alaska starting April 20th and off the grid.
Hello writers! So, full confession time: I’m not quite at 100% yet. In fact, I might even try for a nap after this post is over. We’ll see how I feel.
But I’ve got to be good enough to deliver today’s Being a Better Writer post! After all, I promised it!
Welcome back, writers! Bit by bit, things return to what’s regularly scheduled. Work on Axtara – Magic and Mayhem has resumed, Being a Better Writer is finally coming at the usual rate again, and I’m kicking out a nasty flu that has long overstayed its welcome.
Welcome back once again writers! It’s time for Being a Better Writer, your Monday installment of writing advice and guidance, and today … Well, today is actually a bit of a bump in the queue.
As many of you may already know, Karrie Fisher passed away today after suffering a cardiac incident on a plane. She was only 60. My nerd heart breaks for this news, as this is someone who struggled with disorders, addiction, and more, only to climb out on top in recent years. To have her fall now...well...she deserved better.
So, today, I am announcing the first of many projects I hope to bring to FIMFiction, which, like many others, is a crossover work. This crossover brings the decomposing living dead to a bright and cheery Equestria, with all the hell of series that inspired this, and all the magic of the other inspiration.
The Trotting Dead.
So here's a bunch of stuff, in no particular order.
First off, Crystal Wishes posted a blog about sharing a smile. You're supposed to say who you got it from, and I got it from Bad Horse but I'm not sure I want to admit that to anyone.
Well well well, look who posted a story.
And it is quite a filthy one.
There is something about seeing someone high and mighty be dethroned, and then rethroned.
Be aware of the story's contents, it is going to get gassy.
And there are some quite filthy being interacting with the dear princess, along with so, so, so many farts, which are oh so, so, so stinky.
Check it out below~.
How do you all do, on this night when the wind howls and the moon beacons for our attention, eagerly awaiting the day where we will stand the closest to the dead. A day to pay respect to those you have lost.
One way to do so, is to make sure you live a good life, so enjoy yourself. Give in to some of those desires.
Yet, there won't be much spooks coming from me. Well, except maybe one thing. Though that is nothing I can talk about now.
But it is quite intriguing.
IN WHICH WHY AM I AWAKE NOW?
The other night I was at the gym and this MV came on. For its time (1989), it's pretty impressive with its CGI integration.
It's also an obvious homage to Little Nemo. Anyway, I have a few words to say below the jump if you'll follow.
Whilst there is no new Pony story this week, on my Eka's Portal and Furaffinity Account there is a special campaign up and running for those mares and stallions interested.
Get your hooves dirtied up this deliciously deprived Friday~.
Welcome back, readers, to another Monday! Which of course means another Being a Better Writer post. I do want to keep these to Monday if at all possible. Work shifts permitting.
Life, The Universe, and Everything is this week!
