Update Schedule For The Trotting Dead

So, since I'm out of school now, I plan to update The Trotting Dead a lot more than I have been, I say as I'm only two chapters in. It took me about 14 days to get out Chapter 2, which is how long it took for Chapter 1 as well.

Basically this is saying I plan on updating anywhere from 10-16 days in between chapters.

Project Announcement · 7:53pm May 10th, 2016

So, today, I am announcing the first of many projects I hope to bring to FIMFiction, which, like many others, is a crossover work. This crossover brings the decomposing living dead to a bright and cheery Equestria, with all the hell of series that inspired this, and all the magic of the other inspiration.

The Trotting Dead.

While I know there are stories of pony and TWD crossovers, and even some that follow both shows closely, this one, to my knowledge, is the first one designed to be a multi-person project, spanning the entirety of what, so far, has been explored of The Walking Dead and My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic universes.

So far, Chapter 1 is in the works. Here is a little piece to bring some hype for the project.
"So, what thoughts has your mind had time to come up with about Hell in Equestria?" Aerostorm asked Shining, curious what the military stallion had to say about the world he awoke in.
"Well," Shining Armor started, as he walked to a window to look at the overrun streets, "You weren't kidding when you said Hell. But, the military Captain side of me is telling me to get to know my enemy. So tell me, Aerostorm, what are those things?"
The Pegasus sighed. "They're the dead. Reanimated corpses, if you will. When a pony dies... somethin' takes over their body. Brings them back to life, in a sense. They're not alive... but they're not dead either. They're ruthless too. If they hear, see, or even smell you, you're either gonna kill them, or become their next meal."
Shining Armor turned towards Aerostorm. "How do you know this?" He asked, wondering if he could trust the stallion, his mind whirring.
"My wife, she-"

As you can tell, Shining Armor is our main protagonist in this crossover. This is the first truly mature story to cover the topic, with no POV switching or half-assed scenes.

Also, the best part of this, you guys can change what may happen. While certain deaths will stay no matter what, you can actually change some minimal deaths that don't cause a major plot point of a season. Now, deaths of major characters, for the most part, will stay. There's only one or two I'd consider changing, and I'll post some notice so it can be voted on.

Now, to explain the multi-person project aspect. I'm looking for Editors, Artists, and Writers.

For the Artists, I'm looking for any volunteers who wish to create concept art for characters, or "teasers" for certain chapters. I'd prefer fans of TWD for this to see help the realism of the show, but this is not necessary, but fans of TWD will be considered before non-fans for the sense of realism.
I do NOT accept base work. You don't have to be the best and artist, but no bases.

For writers, I would like to bring some new people in every season (yes, there are seasons). For Season 1, which is being written now, I just want another person or two to work with.

For proofreaders, please just sent me a message.

WRITERS/ARTISTS, PLEASE send in work examples. I will not accept writers who can't fit the style of this project, and artists who, frankly, draw a stick pony. This is all volunteers, you won't get payment, unless being part of this project is payment enough.

For other future projects, I'll consider bringing back who I worked with on this one if they did their job.
