I just watched the Artemis Fowl trailer, excited that we'd finally see an adaptation of one of the best, most influential works of sci-fi literature, even knowing it'd probably be sub-par...
...I have never been so sickened and enraged by the idea of a movie in my entire life.
If friendship magic is the most powerful force in the universe and Princess Celestia is the most powerful alicorn in the world, why doesn't she have any friends? Has anyone else noticed this? Celestia doesn't hang out with anyone. Her big skill is she can raise the sun. So in other words she is skilled at turning the light on. She used to be able to turn the light off too but, I guess her shorter sister who has to monitor all of the world's dreams took that job too.
Yo, what's up, Kemosabes?

My 60th movie review.
Gosh, I can hardly believe that I'm only forty reviews away from my 100th movie review.
Anyway, to celebrate reaching number sixty, as well as to give what I consider to be my Labor Day gift to you all, I have decided to review one of the most beloved films of the 1980s: "The Princess Bride".

*Turns to the screen, eyes widen* Oh, hello... I was just, um... *Clears throat* Hit the music!
Tempest Shadow - badass
Grubber - lame
Storm King - banal
Capper - cool
Capt. Celaeno - incredible
Princess Skystar - eccentric
Queen Novo - useless
Songbird Serenade - inspirational

And today, for my 6th installment of my "Spook Spectacular" series, and the final review on a Halloween-based film, I'll be reviewing "Hocus Pocus".
Here's the summary of this film:
I've watched this one previously, but still, it'd been a number of years since that first viewing.
(Rewatched August 14th, 2023.)
Still every bit as good as I remember it being from the first time.
It's hard to really say anything "new" with regard to the original Terminator. What can I say that other critics or other writers haven't?
What's up, guys? I'm back with another review.
