Well readers, I made a mistake. Not a massive one, but a mistake nonetheless. Kind of a relieving one, too, since I'd been waiting for this shoe to drop for a while now (I had to screw up with one of these posts eventually). But I did screw up.

Smolder didn’t used to like Hearth’s Warming. Until she realized she could win.
Note: while not a complete spoiler, this goes pretty in-depth into events in the story,. If you haven't read this yet, please read it first before you lose the shock factor of a first read.
You ever get an idea? Okay, let me rephrase that—you ever get an idea so dumb, so stupid, so baffling that as you are writing it you instantly KNOW it's that bad? Well, I genuinely believe so, because people actually have a term for it with 'crackfics'.
THE TIME HAS COME! And yes, I almost linked that bit from Dipper’s Guide to the Unexplained #82 there. It was … tempting.
Anyway, those of you that have been around for a while will know exactly what this post is for. It’s time … to submit reader-request topics for Being a Better Writer!
I keep forgetting this, but this post is also available at my site, Unusual Things!
Hey everyone! Welcome back to this week's Being a Better Writer post, which as you may have noticed, is a little late.
Welcome back, everyone! I'm sure many of you wondered where I was yesterday, since BaBW is primarily a Monday -specific post. Rest assured, all is well. I just had a shift at my other job yesterday that was all day. Didn't seem worth posting once more that I wasn't going to be able to post due to that since I'd already given enough warning that such was going to happen, so I figured most would be okay enough if I left things for today.
Just in case you missed it, there was a quick news post that went up just before this post. Be sure to check it out! It's got all the news you need to know!
So basically, you're there sitting in front of a computer or maybe using a phone somewhere reading this wonderful blog of mine...
Welp, howdy. I live with the username InfamousMystery because I'm basically a mysterious being in other people's POV. My real name's a secret. Why? Well, it's a secret, dummy!
I'm a pretty well-known man in EQD... Yeah, since I always advertise my work there... And I also am proudly a tourist in Japan and a video game reviewer, mostly into classics.

In the beautiful Upper Peninsula of Michigan, there's a special place online where people buy, sell, and trade stuff. It's called Yoopers Craigslist. This article is all about why it's so cool and how you can make the most of it to find what you need and connect with your community.

Hey readers. I’m still in the grips of dealing with the devastation visited upon both my family and my hometown (and for a terrifying read of what the community has undergone, see this news story)
Okay, seeing as how the Tornado Watch is almost over and I've gotten nothing but lightning and the occasional rumble of thunder, I'm feeling a heck of a lot better now. Anyways, if everything goes well, tomorrow you should be getting a special surprise from me, an weeks early release of a certain story. And the day after that, another short cuddle fic as well, starring Twilight and Trixie, and if you like, can take place in the same universe as "Trixie's Confession, Twilight's Shock". Also
Today's Being a Better Writer post is ... available at Unusual Things for the time being due to internet access limitations on my end. It's the best I can offer at the moment.
So click that link and give it a read! This week's topic is a good one!
Hello again, readers, to another Monday! I hope yours looks a bit better than mine, at least outside your windows. We're catching the tail-end of a winter storm here, and so the world outside looks a grey smear of clouds with a slow trickle of rain. At least, what I'd consider a slow trickle of rain. It's a bit more for most here considering the desert environment.
I'm not griping. It just looks depressingly grey outside.
Message. Message is an area of much controversy these days, especially in fiction. There are numerous groups with their own ideas of what "the message" of all fiction should be, all arguing and fighting with one another, not a few of them acting like spoiled, entitled children.
As a few of you might know, I have been sick the past few days with migraines, dizziness, a runny nose, sore/itchy throat, and constant coughing (due to breathing with an itchy throat). Today I am finally feeling better (though not all the way). But that hasn't kept me offline.
