We're continuing our countdown today with "Gospel Hallelujah!".
Everyone is familiar with the Hallelujah Chorus. So, to hear it rendered in a different musical genre is a real treat.
My computer stopped working again, and the only thing that I believe might work is a clean reinstall of the new Windows 11, but my flash drive isn’t big enough to hold the data.
I might have to enlist my parents’ help with this one, but I don’t know.
Any ideas you guys have would be extremely helpful, please and thank you.
Just a disclaimer: I'm pretty sure the song's not even supposed to be offensive.
(And this isn't a Parental Advisory warning or anything like that, but you'll see.)
Mongoloid by Devo. (From the 1978 album Q: Are We Not Men? A: We Are Devo!)
Mmmm...that drum intro...
Cover art explanation from our good friend Wikipedia :
We're back to a new band per day.
I really want to post a lesser-known song of theirs, but this one is so good that it traveled back in time and assassinated the Archduke of Austria.
Take Me Out by Franz Ferdinand from their 2004 self-titled debut album.
I didn't do my post for this guy yesterday, so here's two songs in one.
I enjoy listening to Pony music so much I have an iPod shuffle devoted to it: My PonyPod. I especially like the songs I can sing along to, so I end up reviewing official songs a lot. Occasionally, ‘the Failure Song’ from season 3’s Crystal Empire comes on, and I enjoying singing along to this little duet between Twilight & Spike. But one line just bothers me a lot:

Me: I just want to write someone spanking Twilight Sparkle's ass. It's been on my fan-author's bucket list since I started writing clop.
Pre-reader: I am not gonna question that.
FYI, SunLight clop fic is still in the works and creeping past the 6K mark at this point.
Stay classy.

I prefer this version so very much. Instead of Twilight just singing a generic Disney Princess song, this version builds up the parallels between Sunset and Twilight and shows how both of them are feeling about how out of place they feel. While this is a subplot for Sunset that doesn't gel with the rest of the film, it serves to expand on the plot and characters and move them along better than the final version does, which is what all songs in a musical medium should do.
I'm putting a song in it! Yep, ridiculous right? Well, who would I be if I wasn't weird and crazy? Anyways, click below to see what our evil antagonist may or may not be singing. It's still a work in progress.
(This is a slice of recent vintage for me, but I thought it would be great to post this anyway.)

Ahem. And-a-one, and-a-two, and-a-three...
"Writers can express their muse,
On FiM-Fic-tion."
"OCs, tropes, and Mary Sues,
Sick a-dic-tion!"
"Might leave a 'like'; wait,
That's story's cliche!"
"Horestales! Woo-oo!"
"Tales like Daring Do? Nah!
It's Horsetales! Woo-oo!"
"Every day, we're in here making horsetales! Woo-oo!"
"Tales like Daring-Do, bad and good horsetales! Woo-oo!"
I’ve lost my mind
The skies are crashing around me
I’m left behind
Smoke obscures all I can see
You lead me down a dark path
But I’m who you blame for the aftermath
You’re screaming out
You’ve broken me down and I
Am left alone here to cry
Someone can someone please someone save me now
You’ve charred my heart into ash
I’ve become numb to the pain
You’ve driven us both to crash
And escape without a scratch
Okay, so recently I just rewatched the Prince of Egypt by DreamWorks Animation, and at the time I was at a loss to find another cool video to show you guys and gals for this week, until I rewatched the movie (Highly recommend it, if you want a good movie about the story of Exodus starring some very famous and well known voice actors like Ralph Fiennes and Sir Patrick Stewart and some very good songs.) and remembered finding this video out there on the net.
I'M FIRED UP AND TIRED OF THE WAY THAT THINGS HAVE BEEN
OOOOOOOOOO
THE WAY THAT THINGS HAVE BEEN
Been a while since I've done a PMV!
So I watched a playthrough of “The Beginner’s Guide” recently (GREAT game) and loved it, so I decided to do a video about Starlight Glimmer and Trixie Lulamoon with the credits song “Turn Back”. Probably one of my more gentle PMVs, not to mention shortest. I really wish the song was longer.
