Carol of the Day: Dec 4th · 3:14am Dec 5th, 2019
We're continuing our countdown today with "Gospel Hallelujah!".
Everyone is familiar with the Hallelujah Chorus. So, to hear it rendered in a different musical genre is a real treat.
I only recently discovered this 1992 album. "Handel's Messiah: A Soulful Celebration" is a redo of Handel's classic Messiah into various African-American genres. In just the short time I have know if it, it has become a new holiday favorite.
If you enjoy a bit of Gospel or R&B, or a little something different in your Handel, I suggest you check it out.
