Okay, I'm not particularly highly-regarded on this site, but I just posted what I expect to be by far my least popular story. And I'm not even sorry.
So, I recently started listening to the Hamilton soundtrack. I know. I’m late to the game. 
I’ve kind of been avoiding it due to the parental advisory sticker on the case. 
I’m old enough to ignore it, but I avoid it on principal because I don’t like listening to people curse. The history buff in me finally decided to give it a chance, and I actually kind of liked it despite the cursing.

As promised, I have posted the latest chapter of Mayor's Break Time after sleeping on it for a night. I wasn't planning on writing any author's notes for this, but I realized stuff could use some explanation. So follow me past the jump for… I don't know what, but it's there.

I have to give him some credit, though. The video is short, simple, blunt as an axe and strikes hard. And, be it admitted, I found it funny. (No, seriously, Hillary Clinton looked really funny).
So I wake up and then get absolutely bodied with a flood of news. We've had enough October Surprises to last several election cycles already and it's barely even October! What comes next? What is the world coming to? Politics have gotten so insane that we have just had enough news for several weeks compressed into a single day. There is so much important stuff going on and so much bullshit that's it's really difficult to keep up with all this chaos! I deeply dread what awaits all of us
I was going to post a new critique today. But it seemed distasteful, to let everything going on pass without comment. I generally try and limit what I say on FIMfiction to...well, things related to fiction. But fiction exists to reflect and comment upon life. And there is no shortage of things to reflect and comment upon these days.
First take a deep breath, second I'll tell you right now the world is not going to end in fact it will probably be better than it has been in the last eight years.
